I dropped a really big crumb on my laptop keyboard. Turned out to be nothing to worry about, though, it’s under Ctrl.

An ALT possibility is to DEL the above piece of crumb and you can SHIFT back to normal.

About keyboards... I’m really obsessed with the F1 key on my keyboard...  I’m trying to get help.

Seriously though for a minute - can anyone tell me where exactly is the "ANY" key on the standard keyboard. Sometimes I get a dialog box with a message: "Press Any Key"....?

It literally means ANY key -- as in ANY ONE of the several dozen keys that are on a standard keyboard.
