That Your Bet Selection Isn't Good Enough ????

Yes of course it does !!!!
No a progression is the ONLY way to way!!!!!
What You Talking About Willis ??????

ddarko

Okay, just a simple poll. I think flat betting is the ONLY way & the best way to test, and play for that matter.....

No doubt people will disagree, so please vote & if you wish, to post a comment on why you picked what you picked.

I think members views on this should be interesting!!!!!

Watch us big doggs, the MEN, play at a REAL casino, on a REAL table. All we ask is that you stay out of our way. The rest? Bots, airball, RNG...that's more for the Kitty Kat Klub. Its the big doggs and the kittens!! Winning is not an event, it's a process and it takes YEARS and YEARS to master > link:://:.eonline.com/eol_images/Entire_Site/2014127/rs_560x415-140227131132-1024.bulldog-kittens3.jpg... To be great, you have to be willing to be mocked, hated and misunderstood.

Flat betting is enough to determine the validity of your bet selection.  However (and this is a big however), a good progression can make a solid bet selection worth playing. It can't rescue a stinker though.

Flat betting ONLY for me!

Progressions and betting using french sounding names are the quickest way to lose your bankroll!

GLC high quality ec progression are pearls for me. Study properly his progression
and 99% of problems in making $ are resolved.

For me....my bet selection is based on recent marque.
If it needs a neg progression then I chose a bad BS.
My only successes in 5 years have been flat bet.
I do bet more chips if I have more than what I planned to win.

Tamino

NEVER , ever a negative  progrssion.  But positive  progressions   in conjunction with the UP & Pull method  are   OK and adviseable.
For  recreational purposes only. Play at your own risk.

ugly bob

Flat betting is not the best way to go about things IMO.

I will start a seperate thread called 'Flat Betting vs Progression' and back up why I believe progressions can perform better.

How do you win at roulette, simple, make the right decision

rouletteKEY

I generally bet flat until I get enough history on the wheel and wins and losses to stray from the flat bet.  But I will regularly use moderate negative progressions and sometimes some very heavy positive progressions.  I often use stop-losses and then re-enter with a higher base bet as well if things aren't exactly working into my evil plan.   >:D

But I am not playing for recreation or entertainment...I am playing to win... and although I can come out on top generally flat betting (if that is the path I would choose to follow)...it's not worth the time involved or the capital risked to make it worthwhile on a flat basis.  But that's just me.  Everyone has different reasons for playing and goals or expectations from individual sessions or combined regular play.

Roulette is a game, constructed to give the advantage to the casino.
In order to be able to compete with this we must use every little option we have at our disposal.
Entry and exit points, observation, bet selection and of course money management are options and tools in our quest to win.
It would be stupid not to use each and every one of them to create a valid strategy.

Flat betting only means that you think your bet will come more often than theoretically expected. This is a huge unprovable claim! (not to use another word)
Furthermore if there was a system that wins flat betting, it can easily be turned into a system that wins even more by using the proper progression.

Roulette is a hard game as it is. Use all your options in your fight. You have not the luxury to dismiss the flexibility and adaptability offered by the proper money management.

iggiv

if you have right bet selection you don't really need anything else. But that one is not easy. Theoretically impossible. THEORETICALLY.
But the wheel is a mechanical device, don't forget about it. So if somehow you manage to track behaviour of this mechanical device...who knows.

Thanks for all the replies
