Yeah Gampa/Pryanka , a tear jerker sanctioned by the forum`s administration and selected  mods.

The concocted  murder  of poster " RALPH" followed  not too much later on .

I hope it's true that the murder of Ralph was just a ploy.  Even though it's a dastardly thing to do!

At best it would mean that Ralph wasn't who he said he was and so he couldn't be murdered after all.

But what kind of person does this kind of thing to fellow posters.

I have too much invested in this forum to have to endure being jerked around like that.

Hmmm... he was only lying to himself really. I don't categorize him under scammer, or someone trying to dupe people for gain.

I know.  I'm so naïve.

I grew up in an orphanage where lying or any kind of dishonorable behavior was met with immediate and memorable negative consequences.  It would be classified as child abuse in today's world.  Because of that, it's difficult for me to be suspicious of everything everybody says and does.  Don't they know a matron will whollup them for dishonesty?

I do understand being suspicious of business people when they have something to be gained but what does someone have to gain from reporting that Ralph had been murdered? 

If JL was Ralph, I like that part of JL's personality!

There were some fun times at GG, no doubt. BEFORE things got crazy, lots of good "ideas" regarding roulette, quite a few smart guys there (imo).

Hello again 2Cat, Turner, GLC, MrJ and other awesome forum members, too many to name!

Havent posted in awhile and only check the forum form time to time, I like randomness : )

Interesting topic.

I think JL was winning with his way of playing for a while. Once the casino account challenge started he lost and also lost his confidence. JL also played on a casino account I had but unfortunately he lost and did not hear back form him.

You can only win for so long with one method is my conclusion. JL might have been right about hit and run though but with a twist. Similar to how Mr J plays, stick with a method until it starts losing (a certain percentage) never play it again and select another method..... 

Every method would have to be played as ProofReader tests methods or close to it.

At the moment this is the best strategy I can deduce from 3 years in the game.

Many opinions about JL!

So most of you think that he finally faild with his systems. As many forum members expected...

Once he announced to start a tour through european casinos to make the big money.
Does anyone know if he actually was an that tour? Some of you appeared to be quite close with him. Did anyone meet him on that tour?

I personlly don't think that he had any negative intentions on this forum. I was alway fascinated how deep his beliefs about that HIT and RUN approach and his long term winnings were.
I could imagine that these beliefs and positive energy towards his system may have affected the way, style, point of time of gambling in order to make him win for such an extended period of time.

I myself played some of his systems in doubt and busted earlier and more often then he did.

But I liked the old times on this forum chasing the holy grail with Indiana JL!

What is a base for thinking Ralph's story was not real? I checked his IP, it was Sweden. His email was Swedish (.se) too.
Steve could check it further i think. But who said he and his story was  fake? Why?

Nobody is happy about this story. But unfortunately there is no any visible reason to think this was not true. His son-in-law mentioned that Ralph as a young man escaped Holocaust in East Europe being brought to Sweden. I don't think anybody would invent such a story. I knew some Jewish people who were being as kids evacuated to Sweden from Germany and thus saved from Holocaust. Those kinds of stories are not very well known and remembered so I don't even think someone like John Legend would come up with this kind of story to tell just for fun.

I Think you are right Iggiv because i am from Sweden to and Ralph answered me in a discussion about some system in a way that it was super clear that he was from Sweden.
Perhaps John is a swede, i really hope that he is not a swede.
