I am testing some stuff at the moment out of Roy Ward Dickson's book ''How to win at roulette and blackjack''  A lot of people are familiar with his hot number strategy...but he also has a few chapters on the dozens/columns and something he calls 'strip and run play'. I will write up his ideas regarding these tonight.  I looked at all this years ago and tested it on the single 0 wheel. I think Roy was Canadian and so probably intended it for the 00 wheel where things do tend to behave a bit differently IMO. The hot number strategy could be played on either 0 or 00...but maybe his dozens/columns and strip and run play works best on the 00.

If you was wondering why i stopped at spin 40, its because spins 11-40 gave 18 non hit, so + the 9 from the 1st 10 spins, makes it 27 of the 38 gone.
At 60th spin usually see 30 non hits so with 20 spins to come you might only have 3 more non hit, so why bother.

OPINION .


For outside positions  EC, Dozens, or Columns  it does not matter to me  if it is a  single 0 or 0/00 wheel.  However  for inside play it does matter. There  my preference lies with the  0/00 wheel.



PS some of,my bet selections  for the 0/00 wheel would be a disaster for my bankroll playing  them  at a  single 0 wheel.

You can wait for a streak of column 1 say 2 or 3 in a row then flat bet 2 and 3 until in profit

This is a better batch, that extra pocket,would take an earlier win than 50 because of it.

One thing is for certain, columns B and C respectively streak more frequently then column A, I saw many B and C streaks of 4 or more. That just is not the case with our friend A.

According to this lot, expect a streak of 4 or more column A every 136 spins.

Notes: most of the streaks (over half) that consisted of 4 or more had to do with numbers repeating. They were sometimes clustered (dealer signature? i dont really believe in dealer signature....butttt....)

Hey Rich, thanks for some stats from Zumma 

I was spending a bit of time looking at the stats from the 700 spins I have recorded up to now.

Column A came up once 108 times and twice 24 times. So 108/24 = 4.5
Column B came up once 103 times and twice 27 times. So 103/27 = 3.8
Column C came up once 111 times and twice 37 times. So 111/37 = 3

This is why I suggested hunting down the combination ACC on the 00 wheel based on those stats. Any three column combo will return 26/1 for a 1 unit stake.

Looking at my first 100 spins in this thread. The ACC combo appears on the following spins.
