Can dealers make you win or lose? The facts may surprise you: link:://:.roulettephysics.com/can-roulette-dealers-make-you-lose/

heard a rumor that dealers are taught HOW to avoid certain sections if need be or target certain sections if need be
the key to winning with systems : play for a statistically irrelevant number of spins

Steve

As the article explains:

ON THE PERFECT WHEEL:
* its easy to make spins predictable (just spin at consistent speeds)
* It's very difficult to AVOID an area
* It's just about impossible to TARGET an area

ON MODERN WHEELS:
* Consistent spin speeds will likely still produce an edge
* It would take a tremendous amount of skill to avoid an area, and forget about targeting an area.

CONCLUSION:
It's not something you need to worry about. If a casino is going to cheat you, they'd just use magnets. And they only exist in illegal casinos.

Ghost, if what you said is true, then the dealer would be illegally colluding with the casino. That would put the dealer in serious trouble, and for what? It's not their money at risk. If i was a dealer being asked to avoid winning numbers, I'd tell them to shove it. I'd more likely be the type of dealer doing everything to make spins predictable.

No, because of diamonds on the wheel it is impossible to hit any certain sector or number, only in movie.

Steve

Actually the diamonds make it much more possible.

This is how I feel about airball

I know I'm with all the wheel changes speed and it may influence where the ball drops but when it hits that diamond it cannot be 100 percent

You only have to watch a few of those immersive roulette videos where they slow down the video to show that it would be nigh on impossible for any dealer to land the ball in a designated pocket. Yet 'authorities' like Scoblette will tell you to always tip the dealers so they don't spin against you.  :xd:

Not sure here....they can control the rotorspeed , the pressure for shooting the ball and when they shoot him.

Really no idea if they control it though.

True story here : I was at B - class casino (without live dealer. Only automatically but real wheel). Me and my mate playing roulette. Then my eye saw something. ...if we alone at the table and press the start button then he shoots a few seconds later.
So we toke 0 as a reference point till we hit the same half of the wheel.  I kid you not...... we hit it 29 times in a row. Cashed big. Then we played higher bets....we had trouble getting a few hits. Of course we cashed out. But something changed then.....We been able to do it few more days with 7-8 hits on 10 spins....now it's impossible.

Really the only way for anyone to know for sure is try to do it themselves. If you have a wheel of your own, you can try the tests I suggested in the article. You can plainly see what is and isnt possible. But still the dealer can make life harder for professional players, by doing things like spinning at wildly different speeds. It doesnt make you lose always, but it makes play take much longer.

The Force

Roulette is just like any other game.......it is designed to make the house money. They may lose a few battles here and there, but they always win the war.

Isn't the dealer the casino? from your comment am getting the vibe that he is independent!

Steve

The dealer is just an employee. Most dealers want you to win.
