All these bets are named in french, because of their structure and because of their position on the wheel. So they are actually sectors which can be played by announced bet.

Voisins du zéro or neighbors of zero are seventeen numbers which lie between 22 and 25 on the wheel including 22 and 25

Le tiers du cylindre or thirds of the wheel are twelve numbers which lie on the opposite side of the wheel between 27 and 33 including 27 and 33

Orphelins means orphans and they are named like that because they are separated. Total of eight numbers containing 17,34,6 on one side and 1,20,14,31,9 on the other side.
