There's such a rampant infection of ignorance on the forums that it's almost impossible to carry on a real conversation.

Not exclusive to any particular forum. Its an accurate statement.

I have these questions for everyone:

1. Who wants to actually profit long term (like a business), and who plays more as a hobby?

2. If you intend to profit long term, are you prepared to accept your current beliefs are wrong, and learn from others?

3. Why do you think there are very few productive discussions on forums?

4. What rules, if any, or forum features, do you think would ensure productive discussions? Hit me with your great ideas.

A new forum is almost ready.

For this new forum, Im not interested in promoting my "products" and there will be absolutely no ads. Not even for casinos. My focus on it, as a member (not just admin) will be to encourage NEW approaches to beating casinos. Not vb, computers etc.

And I want the structure to be towards progress, not bullshit concepts like law of a third. If someone comes up with a system, there should be a clear process of testing for everyone to follow. It wont be test 100 spins. Then losing approaches will be conveniently archives for easy reference.

If you go to any of the gambling forums, its much the same people. The only difference is admin and what they allow. Again I intend to merge the forums if possible. Im hoping the new structure will eliminate the bullshit wars between members, and stop repating the same garbage mistakes that the casinos love. It hasnt been done yet. Currently all the forums are just places to chat, with no proper organization. For example, do you know exactly why the law of a third fails? And how you can test to know for yourself, and easily refer others to this convenient information? Soon we will.

Be in control of your own thread. Block certain members on that particular thread. (The General. ..although he's right it doesn't mean he need to act like that. Mr j...only talk sh*t and come to provoke. Things like that.  Block scammers

Have you ever worked on a bs idea when you were starting out like wait until a doz sleeps 4 then bet it with progression?

Ive never been on an AP forum but I bet its just like here only the arguments are of finer detail
And losing arguments revert to posting pictures of uniicorns

When you try changing things that dont work for u or put more subtly, dont like mixing with idiots, you are trapped because the same will happen in your posh...elitist new club.
There are always people who are better than you, or worse, think they are that will spoil the show.

The fight here is systems dont work and AP does.

How the universe works is not a matter of opinion or pride. The problem as i see it is people often have personal problems and are at different stages of awareness. There isn't just one cause to all the conflict. Its pride, different motives, different level of knowledge, poor communication etc.

There at least needs to be forum segregation depending on a members motives with systems.

Great minds think alike, and fools seldom differ.

I don't think it will be a big problem to solve the common problems with forums. Just needs some thought, logic and since trial and error. I'm betting other forums will follow, unless their idea of a successful forum is uncensored trash and trolls. Higher traffic, lower productivity.

Caleb can be annoying to some people, but as far as I see, this process repeats:

1. He shares information, which are actually facts, and may appear condescending. The facts are unwelcome.
2. He's attacked
3. He annoys people who attack him

Actually he gets attacked a lot more than he attacks.

Yes I would allow him, subject to same rules here, and anyone can moderate their own threads if they dont like him.

And besides, I plan to have private sections where nobody is allowed to criticize anything or anyone - including ideas that are well known to fail. That's what some people seem to want. But there will also be sections where rational information with evidence and supporting information is the focus.

After seeing the same losing principles and ignorance, honestly I can understand why anyone with experience may be abrupt. It gets better results than "pardon me, but you might want to do a wee bit more testing".

I understand your point, and you can accuse him or me of having a narrow view. But before you say that, you need to see the other side too. Understand I'm finding the balance of both sides. Thats why I created the no-ap area. And the upcoming forum will have better solutions.
