Karma mod replaced

The karma was being abused. Basically the same people constantly smited people they didnt like, almost daily, making productive members look bad. They did the same thing at gamblersforum.com so changes were done there too.

For the new rating system, click the heart next to a members name and rate. You can give reasons for the rating. There are limits to prevent abuse, but most importantly every member can see their reasons and who gave ratings. It makes everything more honest and transparent. Nobody can hide anymore.

If this gets abused too, obvious malicious "smiters" will be restricted from voting.

As your rates/reputation grows, the the amount of green boxes and your member rating increases. Every 10 votes, you get another bar. This may change depending on how popular the feature is.

Ive figured out the issue. It conflicts with karma mod, so Im just manually fixing it.

The new reputation system should now be working. Im not sure about the parameters Ive set, but time will tell if they are appropriate.

Basically the higher your reputation, the greater your power to affect other people's reputation.

Ive had to manually add reputation to active members so everyone should have a power of 1. If I missed anyone, let me know.

You can start smiting peoples arses, but theyll know who it was, and can even read any reason you add.

Strange how for every applaud I gave out, two smites got added on within a couple hours.

Not even the point. If we're gonna throw "hiding" around so freely, its on now. Lets see who else "hides", cause it aint me. You guys know my thoughts regarding multi user names, cant stand it. To me, thats also hiding. I asked IMPORTANT questions maybe 5 days ago, never got answers (big surprise).

I actually went this far....in my notebook, I noted the +/- and the TIME.

Gave my applauds, then checked back 1-3 hours later to see it JUMP to, an extra -2. Tamino was the PERFECT example of what I am talking about and *NO* new smites on such members PRIOR to me giving applauds...Hmmmm.

All that talk about honesty and hiding.
