Stay Off Of The Zeros

On the live wheels, the zeros are often a bad bet.  Having tracked zillions of wheels over the years for bias, I've found that the zeros are often quite random to negatively biased.  The reason is that they're often the most heavily bet numbers.  Consequently they get a little extra attention from the casino when it comes to the cleaning and maintenance of the wheel.  A hedge bet on the zeros serves no purpose, and opens the door for a loss that could theoretically exceed the normal house edge due to a negative bias.

In the US, the first bet the roulette junkies bet is a split on the zeros, and then a bet straight up on both zeros.  Too many players can't bare seeing a number hit that they're not on.  Especially the zeros.
