Hi
I'm not Marty fan, but the sequence which plays RBRRBB is certainly better like chasing sleepers, more action, the probability same.
Stop lose 64 units, 32 units profit target .

Same system as most on this forum.

The problem or question that I have in using that is this.  Are you using it
on a rolling basis?  The reason I ask is because whenever I think of
trying something that way, you end up with a win somewhere in the series
and then start off again, giving opportunity to a series match.

In other words, if you play  RBRRBB.  You may play RBR. Win. And start with
RBRRBB again, and that is an opportunity for that sequence to happen. As opposed
to playing  RBRRBB    RBRRBB    RBRRBB    RBRRBB , and if you win somewhere
early you wait til it ends.

I can't figure out if that matters.  But other times it seems to.

I just grabbed a paper from today when I went and gathered data. Here is
some of the data.

RRBRBBRR

Using the RBRRBB template here is what happens......

R  win
R  win
B  loss
R  loss
B  loss
B  loss
R  loss
R  loss

After 2 wins, I got an EXACT series of 6 for a loss...........

(And I didn't even need zumma)

So to reiterate what I was saying before about the pattern of 6 and
how it aligns,  If I had applied the pattern " RBRRBB " in the beginning,
and stopped applying it for the rest of the 6 spins and began again, I would
have won and continued. The point being that I "missed" the hitting
the patter, spin for spin, and began a new search.

Does it matter?  Will I align with it right after that? Or did I dodge a bullet?

That sequence will inevitably hit whether betting on a rolling basis or restarting after a win. We´ll never know when, so neither strategy is better than the other. What we know is the probability of any 6 step EC sequence to complete is 1/64 (zeros not accounted).

How many chances are there in an EC? Two (Red or Black).

How many steps is the sequence? Six. So it will be 2*2*2*2*2*2=64.

Let´s say you use RBRRBB continuously:

R= 1/2 or One in two chances to win the first bet.
B = 1/(2*2) = 1/4 or One in four chances to win the first and second bets.
R = 1/(2*2*2) = 1/8 or One in 64 chances to win all bets.One in eight chances to win the first, second and third bets.
R = 1/(2*2*2*2) = 1/16
B = 1/(2*2*2*2*2) = 1/32
B = 1/(2*2*2*2*2*2) = 1/64 or One in 64 chances to win all bets.

Notice how the divisors are always doubling up. A clue to how and why the Martingale works (to a certain point).

As your chances of losing keep doubling up, a crazy but fun system would be thinking of any EC sequence and betting against it.
