Odds and payouts are different things. If either the odds or payouts don't change, then the result is the same - eventual loss.

Anyone tried covering the whole table with chips & just wait for the bet size difference to take effect?

The bet: Aka (assuming european wheel) that you put 24 units on Dozen 1, 24 units on Dozen 2, then 2 units on Zero and finally a smaller mount on like 10 units on the last dozen.

Bet size: 24+24+2+10 = 60 units. On a Win = 72-60 = 12 units. Loose: 30-60 = -30 units lost.

The idea: you should have a 25/37 = 67,57% chance of wining 12 units & a 12/37 = 32,43% chance of loosing, but as the chance of winning is higher then you should win shortterm even with just flat bets? Even without ever changing the "low dozen" etc. I know longterm it shouldnt matter.

Oh and i know it probably dont work for several reasons in a real casino, but a online live one all you have to do is press the re-bet button.

I guess you could refine the bet even more to gain a higher win chance but at the cost of the size of the lost bet. Like betting on lines (sets of 6) instead. Bet on 12 units on 5 lines, then 2 units on Zero and finally 2 units on the last line.
Total bet then 64 units. Win 31/37 = 83,78% gives you 72-64 = 8 units and loosing 6/37 = 16,22% to lose 12-64 = -52 units. A lot more dangerous even though i like the 83% chance.

Oh and not sure about the "sweet spot" in the bets as smaller wins = smaller losses but at the same time you dont want to be "penny pushing".

Mostly likely this has already been discussed to death in here, but i just felt like throwing it out there. Any links to a previous discussion or strategy highly appreciated  ;)
