Single Dozen

Was going to open a new thread.  But I thought I'd piggy back in this one.

New idea? Effective?

Well I begin with this UDP thread.

There you have the single dozen progression of

1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,8,8,9,9 - Total bankroll = 90
For every loss move one step to the right and after ever win move 3 steps to the left

I think it's a pretty good progression. And I have been playing around with various single and
double dozen variations.

What seems to have some merit is, for selection, play the dozen next to last. What this
accomplishes is that you completely ignore the infamous "lost" dozen.  It also seems to hold
true that last dozens do repeat, but not for that long.

Having said that, chasing the next to last dozen seems to work and get you out
of any losing streaks.

One last point or thought that I would add is that I have sometimes though about betting
the LITERAL next to last dozen. What this accomplishes is that you hit a dozen that
decides to repeat for a while.

I've been playing with it, and it seems pretty smooth.

As you can see it doesn't matter how long the dozen sleeps for or fails to appear- what hurts this system is the failure of it to repeat once it does reappear.

Miss 34 as notto said  = once every 615K

Take your pick.
On multi player got to 1.00 in a few games of betting 9#'s. But in 21 games of 60 spins, not 1 game after the other, thou. 1st # was section 19-27(3), missed for 29 spins. next 4 spins section 3,3,4,3 bust

That's great. But what did you do?

maths can't give you a MAXIMUM number of times that it will miss a dozen. Or as they will say "it can THEORETICALLY miss INFINITE times. For ever"  But what it can give you is percentages of how probable is to miss for each specific amount of times
Every spin the chance to miss the dozen in European Roulette is 25/37 = 0.6756 or 67.56% So

Miss 1 time: 67.56% ( or 1/0.6756 =once every 1.48 spins)
Miss 2 times: (25/37)^2 = 0.4565 = 45.65% (or 1/0.4565 =once every 2.19 spins)
