Having studied various claims to beating this game and eliminated all the dross over the past year or so, through simulation over 1 million spins at a time, I think there's only a handful of ideas remaining that warrant further testing:

1) Outcomes that are not equally likely, such as Dozen cycles, CL1, CL2 & CL3, used together in an attempt to beat variance.
2) Outcomes that are not equally likely, such as Dozen cycles, CL1, CL2 & CL3, used together to make new sequences of Same and Different = SD.
3) Parachuting. Win on Dozen CL1 or CL2 then parachute to Quads CL1-4. Repeat till a number repeats. There may or may not be something there.
4) Parallel? I really don't believe parallel games can help, but I can't say I've tested them exhaustively.
5) VdW? I may have observed one pattern only when used in combination with cycles, but I can't swear to it.

Can the game be beaten? I don't know, but I doubt it. Nevertheless, here's my 2 best findings that I reported on last year:
*SD Order (or it's parallel "positions" = RO) on Dozen Cycles = 36 in a row same vs. 26 in a row different.
*Random behaves differently at different times.

I've not personally attempted to beat variance, but others have testified to having done so - the only reason I put it at the #1 spot.

OK guys, I have decided to give you all a Holy Grail method free of charge based on #5 in the list because I am tired of all the BS posted on this forum - just don't expect me to play this as I refuse to play VdW - but if you can be bothered with it then you might win a small fortune.

"Same": loses majority of the time - so when VdW says bet same I would bet different instead.

So go forth and win enough money to close down all casinos by the end of the year, in which case I would say "splendid, splendid... Amitābha... Buddha bless you!"   

And remember: the earth really is flat! What really matters is that you know this and not the Holy Grail.

I read the thread. Really interesting indeed. Cheese is not bs'ing. Concerning the last post:it sounds ok, but it really isn't. Its like in the old days in physics where philosophers made statements about the physical world, he is still in the old paradigm. Its like listening to  a person who "knows" that the world is flat explaining this "thruth" to someone who thinks it might be round(ish) and that it actually really doesn't matter.


knowing how people think is not the same as knowing how to think!
