Online roulette & casinons for French users

Hello everyone,

This post will mainly focus on the possibility for french users to play online at roulette and casinos.
As you may know it, a new law has been promulgated this summer in France, in order to restrict france-based people to play poker and casinos online. Only games like poker or sport betting are now authorized to play online, and of course only to the websites are received an authorization from a french control organization.
So now playing casino and roulette is strictly forbidden in France. In fact, it was also forbidden before, and authorities just let people played without any legal means to force them to stop. Now that this law is promulgated, that's totally different.

Many online casino just now don't accept anymore french people. That's the case of all the Playtech casino, where I used to play a lot before : you can still register by going to the UK/US version of their website (I think), but as soon as you want to start a new game, they probably check into your profile that you are based in france and then they stop the connection by a simple message telling "This game is unavaible..."

One may think an option to play would be to use a VPN in order that the casino website could not know you're based in France (as the VPN will give you a foreign IP address), but what's going on at the widthdraw time ?? They'll ask you for your identification papers, driver licence ID, etc, where it's written you live in *France*. Will they block your widthdrawing ?

So, my question is about the current casinos that still accept French people and still pay when they widthdraw, because accepting french people is a fact, but paying them is another one.
So, if you're french, which casino do you use now ?
Currently I'm playing a lot at DublinBet but only for free money. Do they pay french people with real money too ? If not, then at where casino should we go ?

Yes you would be correct, they wud not pay you because you area french resident.


My suggestion would be to email dublinbet and ask them, and if no joy continue to email as many as possible until you find your next Casino home.

Thats not true Flat. Some do as proven, but not all cheat.

But you are correct about them wanting to curb online gamin

Its a false economy and draing resourses because of addiction......its too easy to spent 35k compared to a B&M Casino etc

Maybe. I dont know if 50.01% + are cheating but I do know ALL casino's do not cheat

They dont need to.

There are some countries i wudnt touch with counterfeit

In fact, I'm not really sure of the casino response : you know that when you send an email to a casino, it is in fact sent to a simple guy that can make mistake or is simply misinformed. He can tell you : "Yeah you can widthdraw with any problem" and once you try it, you're blocked...
I say that because I add the problem a few weeks ago (well, it wasn't with a casino but with my phone provider ) so I want to be more careful now...
