Well if it were a two way device, they would need no network as such ? (yes thats correct wording, catch or connect to a network)

What baffles me is they dont seem to care that they could be seen very easily. Why is no one around them lookin on in wonder ?

It would be like you or me seeing someone float over head with no obvious means and yet ignore it !!
