Progression bets are nothing more than different size bets on different spins. You could get lucky and win big, or unlucky and lose even more.

So that more or less explains the nuts and bolts of what's going on.
I don't know how many people will take an interest in this. It probably seems like a lot of hard work to get acquainted with it all. I will probably make a few videos from one or two of the internet casinos. Some people are better looking at things visually than just reading a load of text. If I write a few more examples to go with the videos, hopefully that will help explain things as well. I should be able to manage that before the end of the week.

For anyone who is testing this or thinking about testing it, I would just like to show you a quick example from a real live session that I just played at the live online casino challenge jackpot.

I will type out the actual number that appeared. Which street it belongs to. The correct marking from the master chart, the missing three streets, the actual bets that would be placed and finally the results with a running total.

(10) 4.
---------
(2) 1. (1,6,9)
(10) 4. (3,4,6)
(16) 6. (2,4,6)
(36) 12. (3,6,12)
(15) 5. (5,5,7) 8/10/11. bet streets 2,5,6,7,12. win +7 (+7)
(5) 2. (2,6,9) 8/10/11. bet streets 2,3,4,5,7,9. win +6 (+13)
(27) 9. (5,7,9) 8/10/11. bet streets 1,2,3,6,9,12. win +6 (+19)
(6) 2. (2,5,7) 8/10/11. bet streets 2,3,4,5,7,9. win +6 (+25)
(10) 4. (2,4,4) 8/10/11. bet streets 1,4,5,6,7,9. win +6 (+31)
(20) 7. (3,5,7) 8/10/11. bet streets 1,2,4,7,12. win +7 (+38)
(3) 1. (1,1,6) 8/10/11. bet streets 1,2,3,4. win +8 (+46)
(3) 1. (1,12,12) 8/10/11. bet streets 1,2,3,4. lose -4 (+42)
(14) 5. (4,5,8) 9/10/11.  STOP.

It goes to show that any three street combination can go missing for a while (even when it does not include the 12) Here, the 8,10,11 was missing for 12 sets of bracketed numbers. You can get some nice runs like this where the wins do clump together. If you get the opportunity to play a few 3, 4 or 5 street bets, it can really boost the profits quickly.
Anyway, I hope this little example will be helpful for anyone doing some experimenting/testing.

I will show another example from a quick session from jackpot challenge just finished.
Same drill, number first, street, master chart marking, missing three streets, bets, win/loss, running balance.

(27) 9.
---------
(23) 8. (2,8,11)
(29) 10. (2,8,10)
(26) 9. (2,9,11)
(4) 2. (2,5,7)
(26) 9. (5,7,9)
(23) 8. (2,8,11)
(1) 1. (1,3,5)  4/6/12.  bet 2,8,9,10,11.  lose -5 (-5)
(1) 1. (1,12,12)  4/6/10.  bet 1,2,8,9,12.  win +7 (+2)
(4) 2. (1,2,2)  4/6/10.  bet 2,3,7,9,11.  lose -5. (-3)
(1) 1. (1,10,11)  4/6/7.  bet 1,2,10,11,12.  win +7 (+4)
(35) 12. (1,11,12)  4/6/7.  bet 1,2,3,8,11,12.  lose -6 (-2)
(11) 4. (4,4,5)  6/7/9.  bet 2,3,4,5,8.  win +7 (+5)
(10) 4. (4,12,12)  6/7/9.  bet 2,3,4,5,8.  lose -5 (level)
(1) 1. (1,6,9)  3/7/8.  bet 1,2,6,10,12.  win +7 (+7)
(30) 10. (5,9,10)  3/7/8.  bet 2,4,9,10,11.  lose -5 (+2)
(1) 1. (1,3,7)  2/8/11.  STOP.

A few things to note here, I  went L W L W L W L W L.  5 losses versus 4 wins and yet still came out +2.
Also check them numbers out, 1,1,4,1,35,11,10,1,30,1.  Five number 1's in 10 spins, talk about hot.

For anyone who is testing this, I would like to show you a difficult session I encountered tonight. It is probably fair to say that you only really learn the ins and outs of something when you get right down to the nitty gritty. I will run through the results and then give a brief explanation using the LW methodology to explain how this session was actually not as bad as it first appears.
I will type out the actual number that appeared. Which street it belongs to. The correct marking from the master chart, the missing three streets, the actual bets that would be placed and finally the results with a running total.

(26)  9.  (4,9,11)  7/8/12.  bet streets  1,3,6,10.  win  +8  (-7)
(16)  6.  (3,6,9)  7/8/12.  bet streets  3,5,9,11.  lose  -4  (-11)  STOP.

There were 18 bets in total. 6 WINS + 12 LOSSES.
So even if you were betting all the way through, considering you had twice as many losses as wins and still only lost 11 units, it is not a disaster.
But let's have a look at it taking into account what I wrote regarding timing and the LW methodology.
Remember the 4 groups, 1 (WW) 2  (WL) 3 (LL) 4 (LW)
The groups appeared as 3, 3, 3, 2, 1, 2, 3, 2, 2.
Never place a bet after you see a 3 group. (The 3 groups tend to bunch up in nasty streaks) After the first 5 groups, you have the 4 (LW) group as the furthest back.
This means the first result on the next pair is more likely to be a W and the second result on the next pair is more likely to be a loss.
Now let's just have a look at the second result in each pair of all 9 groups. You have, L, L, L, L, W, L, L, L, L. 8 out of 9 are losses. So our indicator is pretty accurate here. After the 4 (LW) becomes the furthest back group, the first result in each pair gives us the following. W, L, W, W. If you go by tight rules, you would only be on the 1st and 4th of those wins. WHY? Because when the L came, that was part of a group 3 (LL) and so you would not have had a bet on the first result of the next group. So the actual total profit from this session could have being +10 if you played it tight using the LW methodology.
* For more information regarding the triggers and LW methodology, refer to the other thread in the bet selection forum titled 'Timing + the LW methodology' *
I hope this post helps to give anyone a better understanding of what I am doing. Even a bad session where you have a lot more losses than wins does not need to be a disaster. You can still profit from flat betting if you use the correct approach.
