Maybe I am misunderstanding the method, but wouldn't the number of uniques at spin no. 30 fluctuate somewhat from one cycle to the next?

So the progression also has to change from one cycle to the next.

It cannot be a fixed progression, like the one you proposed.

It has to be a variable one -- or am I misunderstanding something?

Yes it needs to be a variable one.

The reasoning behind the fixed progression is
at some point the higher you go you're in "recovery mode".

I could not find progressions on #13, #14, #15 or #16 numbers.

Personally I wish I could flat-bet the numbers, but the hit-rate isn't there.
