Good for France, but Croatia and Belgium really made history there.

At the beginning of the tournament I was saying either Belgium, England or Croatia was going to win the cup. I am so happy I was wrong, otherwise I would be so gutted that I didn't bet on them.

France was completely undeserved win. Griezmann dived for free kick, perisic hand was not a penalty. Croatia won my heart.

Also Japan, after 2-0 against Belgium they could've parked the bus, but they played aggressive and fought like samurais.

I believed Belgium would win. They didn't but i still see them as the strongest team . But not always the best win

if you have modest to little experience in footbal, you wouldn't write this.
in football, tactics and final score what matters.

France's tactics are extremly efficient. croatia was suffering in the final with ball's conclusions! besides that croatia had to play extra times in last 3 games..so somweher they had a poblem in offensive

I don't completely agree with you roulettebeater, of course on paper, tactically and technical qualities of France is superior than Croatia. But sometimes willpower, teamwork combined can defeat stronger opponents.

Look at Iceland during the qualifications, beaten the Netherlands twice.

Croatia didn't deserve the penalty against them and the griezmanns dive for the freekick. If that didn't happen we might have seen a draw going into extra time and penalties. Croatia would have had much more of a a chance. But then hey, the ref was from Argentina, and what happened between the match Croatia vs Argentina?
