This is a system written some time ago which I recently discovered and I feel it has been very much overlooked.
I also cannot find much comment on it eg. other forums  - other than favourable comment, that is.
I have slightly amended the original text to correct some grammar and for clarification purposes.

WABO ROULETTE SYSTEM
======================
Single 0.

This system is based on the outside bets and looks at which bet is trending the
most, I have done extensive research on trends in roulette and I have found
these to be the best.

What you do is this:
Write down the first 10 spins from a table. Donââ,¬â,,¢t look at the board because they
are not always right; rather stand and watch the spins.
We will take the example of high/low numbers.

Once you have 10 spins (real numbers; not 0), have a look and see which one is trending better, nine
times out of ten you will find four low and six high numbers or vice-versa.

Sometimes the pattern is different just remember: **only start betting once one of
them is TWO trends ahead of the other after 10 spins.**
This is very, very, very important!

Here is an example: (hamburg files 2001-02-01)
18 1 25 26 13 13 31 4 16 14

From here we can see that there are seven low (1-18) and three high (19-36)
numbers.

We are now going to bet on the low numbers, but we must keep track of the
trending at the same time as we bet, so we can see because when high is trending
better we would change our bet to that side...

Betting sequence is as follows:
When you WIN and are level to or ahead of your highest recorded profit you restart
the progression at the beginning.

When you LOSE: increase the bet by one unit and keep increasing each spin until you win.
Whenever you WIN see if you are ahead or square; if so start betting from the beginning again.

However, if you are still down after a WIN reduce the next bet by one unit.
After a LOSING SPIN and you are still not level or ahead increase by one unit.
Keep doing this until you are square or up. Once this happens start the progression from the beginning.

When to stop betting:
Once you are ahead by 7 to 10 units stop and go to another table or wait another
10 spins and start over. Try not to be too greedy.

There is nothing wrong with making 50 to 100 units per day.

Bankroll:
I would say a 100 unit bankroll is safe enough if playing with small value chips.

Here is an example as per hamburg file 2001-02-01:
18 1 25 26 13 13 31 4 16 14

We know we are going to bet on low numbers because they are trending better, so
we bet one unit:

1 unit bet on low, number 29 comes so we lose.
Now we have seven low and four high numbers.

2 units bet on low numbers because low is still trending better than high,
number 20 comes so we lose.
Now we have seven low and five high numbers.

3 units bet on low numbers because low is still trending better than high,
number 16 comes up so we win; so far we are square.
Now we have eight low and five high numbers.

We start betting from the beginning again because we are square and not down.
1 unit on low numbers and number 7 comes so we win; now we are 1 unit up.
Now we have nine low and five high numbers.

1 unit on low, number 5 comes so we win; now we are 2 units up.
Now we have ten low and five high.

1 unit on low, number 31 comes so we lose.
Now we have ten low and six high numbers.

2 units on low, number 28 comes up so we lose.
Now we have ten low and seven high.

I hope by now you get the picture. From here on I am going to show the rest in a
short format as follows:

Number Units win/lose balance
15 3 win +2
21 1 lose +1
13 2 win +3
18 1 win +4
4 1 win +5
21 1 lose +4
28 2 lose +2
5 3 win +5
18 1 win +6
1 1 win +7 (STOP)

Now is a good time to stop because we have reached our minimum target.
We only played for 17 spins, this is about average.

**I recommend playing five to ten sessions a day.**

Here is another example from the hamburg files 2001-01-24:
First ten numbers are 20 31 17 20 8 25 3 2 5 17
We have four high and six low.

Number Units win/lose balance
33 1 lose -1
2 2 win +1
15 1 win +2
0 1 lose +1
13 2 win +3
17 1 win +4
9 1 win +5
11 1 win +6
30 1 lose +5
22 2 lose +3
12 3 win +6
20 1 lose +5
23 2 lose +3
14 3 win +6
0 1 lose +5
20 2 lose +3
24 3 lose 0
30 4 lose -4
34 5 lose -9
36 6 lose -15
Now we have 14 low and 14 high but stay with low until high gets ahead.
8 7 win -8
We WON but are eight units down so now we reduce the bet by one unit.
5 6 win -2
Ok we won and now have 16 low and 14 high ; we are still down so we bet one unit less.
35 5 lose -7
We lost so now we bet one up.
11 6 win -1
We win so we bet one down.
28 5 lose -6
2 6 win 0
**Ok even though we are square overall we are still in fact six units down because
that is the most we won in our highest recorded profit so we bet one unit down.**
14 5 win +5
We still are not quite there so we bet four units.
1 4 win +9 (STOP)
We have reached our goal.

This was a bad run so it took us 28 spins to make 9 units.

I have tested this system on 15000 spins, which I think is quite extensive and I
did not lose once.

These spins were taken from hamburg files and my local casino.

Here are a few examples of recent spins from Spielbank Casino:
Date: 2001-01-02
First 10 numbers: 17 3 18 35 24 30 31 25 30 16
We have 4 low and 6 high numbers, so we will play high.

Number Units lose/win balance
27 1 win +1
31 1 win +2
32 1 win +3
15 1 lose +2
18 2 lose 0
3 3 lose -3
11 4 lose -7
19 5 win -2
19 4 win +2
31 3 win +5
32 1 win +6
14 1 lose +5
30 2 win +7 (STOP)

Date: 2001-01-02
First 10 numbers: 9 1 12 27 31 30 7 4 13 10
We have 7 low and 3 high numbers, so we will play low.

Number Units win/lose balance
8 1 win +1
33 1 lose 0
8 2 win +2
16 1 win +3
28 1 lose +2
14 2 win +4
12 1 win +5
15 1 win +6
16 1 win +7 (STOP)

====================

OK. That is the system and seems to work very well. There is merit and value here.
It is very easy to track and play and won't take long at all to master and operate.
I've had 15 continuous winning sessions so far aiming for +7 each time.

Anyone interested: please test, show results so we can evaluate and guage opinion.
Surely it cannot **always** work and that in due course it will fail?
So I think some kind of STOP/LOSS has to be put into operation for such occurrence.
Maybe some minor "tweak" can even improve this - if at all necessary?

Good Luck!

How far have you had to go on the progression, I tried it today and won two games easily.  but the third game took the progression to 14.  How often should we expect this to happen or was I just having a bad day.

Thanks

Hi Phishalot,
I did get some high progs but not as high as that... I'm just playing as the system says. It's not MY system, I posted it because it looked good.  I got some really encouraging results out of a 15 session test and did not lose. What you describe is something that must be preferably avoided. Yes you can still recover from that position but it seems too high.. there needs some modifying or changes to deal with such an outcome. Maybe a progression cap or a different progression of sorts...
I will work on trying to find any improves. All ideas welcome remember. Maybe if we can all share our thoughts and put our heads together a resolution can be found.
Some kind of fusion with fender's new 100 system maybe?
Thanks,

A.

Right. Here's my first modification to the original to try and stem rising progressions

You might like to try this Phishalot on your original test numbers and report back.

Only increase the progression after THREE CONSECUTIVE LOSSES!
Simply add 1 unit when you have three losses in a row ONLY.

Remain at the same stake level unless it needs increasing (3 losses in a row)
or until you are level with or ahead of your current highest recorded profit in which
case RESET to the beginning again

Atlantis,

I have tried the WABO system a few times and have had excellent luck with it in the past.   One thing I did want to point out is that I have taken the same spins and applied a different bet selection to it which has almost always given me more wins than the WABO method.

The simple follow the trend is as effective a bet selection process as I've found.   Even though all of you are familiar with this process I'll outline the rules.   Always follow the color ( or even/odd or hi/lo) until there is a color change at which time you play for the color to keep changing back and forth until you get 2 in a row at which time you go back to follow the color.   The only exception to this rule is if you get RBBRR then you begin betting for the doubles to continue.   So your next bet would be BBRR as soon as that pattern ends, go back to the original method.

I have looked at a lot of progressions with E. C. 's.   All of them will have a run from hell and get out of hand eventually.   That's why we need a stop loss at some point.   The simplest and overall safest is probably the "plus 1 unit on a loss and minus 1 unit on a win".   You will always come out ahead with this system if you don't get too many changes without streaks.  Streaks are your friends with this method.

I always play to start over at 1 unit when I have a total of 0 or +1 or higher.

I was just playing a session when I ran into a sequence of 126 spins betting the above progression and was in the hole the whole time until the final spin when I was finally at +3.   My highest bet was 21 units and I was minus 208 units at one point.   I tested some of the other E. C.  progressions on these 126 spins to see if some were better than others.

One variation is to double the "win, down 1/lose, up1" to "lose twice before increasing 1/win twice before decreasing 1".   I was betting smaller bets overall (largest bet was 13) and didn't go nearly so deep in the hole (lowest point was -131 units), but I never got to plus throughout the entire 126 spins ( ended at -6 units).

The fibonacci did much better, 1,1,2,3,5,8, etc. . .   or you I start with only one 1 then 2,3,5,8,etc. . , but as you know, it is also much more volatile and can escalate out of control quite rapidly.   The 1,2,3,5. . .  fibo produced +29 units on the same 126 spins with a highest bet of 21 units and a lowest point of -32 units.   Not bad.   I played the fibo in this way.   A loss moves you to the next unit bet and when you get a win, you have to drop 2 bet levels and continue in the progression until you win again at which time you again drop back 2 bet levels.   Do this until you are even or up by +1.

I have tweeked the fibonacci in a way that makes it much more profitable and much less volatile.   The numbers I use are 1,2,4,6,10,16,26,42,68, etc. . .   As you can see this begins as a 3 step martingale so a win on any of the first 3 spins results in a +1 gain and a start over at 1 unit.   If you don't win in the first 3 spins you play it the same way as described above, win - drop back 2 steps.   In this version if you win and then win the next bet at 2 steps back, you will be at +1 so you can start over at 1 unit.   I won 38 units with this method.   My highest unit bet was 16 units and my lowest drawdown was -23 units.

I think this tweeked fibo is a very powerful betting method for the E. C. 's and maybe even for the 2:1 bets.

Look at it and see what you think.   I have just discovered it (someone else may have presented it years ago, but I don't know about them) and so I haven't had much time to test it extensively.   What testing I have done has been extremely positive.

Cheers,
George
In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!

GLC

A,

Here's the beginning of the 126 spins to show how the tweeked fibo works.  The main reason the standard D'Alembert didn't perform too well is because the spins started out with a lot of losses which put in into the hole pretty deep and it could never get it's head above water.  The fact that it finally did come up to plus territory shows that it can perform well for someone who doesn't like the risk of a maringale or fibo getting too high a bet to continue.

This is with the fibo: 1,2,4,6,10,16,26,42,68,110

B            B                 1           W           +1
etc...

As you can see the tweeked Fibo seems to have a leg up on the D'Alembert.  It may just be this particular sequence of spins.  Further testing will tell.

The area of concern is when the Fibo has multiple loses with only 1 win in a row intermixed.  This will cause it to climb rapidly whereas the D'Alembert will only climb at 1 unit per loss.  There may be a way to switch over to D'Alembert if the bet level with the Fibo gets too high until things drop down some.  Or, probably just a stop loss level.

If anyone can help us out here, would really appreciate your input.

Thanks, George

I wrote my two posts before I realized that you had changed your betting strategy.  I may have been a little hasty in touting the follow the color over the follow the trend of the WABO.  Your lose 3 add 1 win 3 lower by 1 is extremely safe and seems to come out in the plus easily enough so far.  The best think about it is that you can play with larger units since it doesn't tend to go so deep in the hole and the unit size stays very manageable.

I'll do some testing with you betting selection method and progression so we can get more tests going.  This should help us decide how often we get in a no win situation.

Are you recommending that we use their stop loss and win goal?

GLC

P.S.  I just wanted to mention the system "Advantage Roulette" listed in the 302 systems.  It is very similar to the WABO except that they recommend using the last 13 spins and betting on whichever E.C. has 7 or more hits vs 6 or less.  The extra 3 spins in the formation set may not make that much difference, but it might.  Might as well look at every angle. lol  The author claims that this gives an 8% advantage.  Of course, we know that's not true.  If it was, we'd all be rich within the month.  How can these guys make such rediculous claims?  Still, trends can be very powerful.
In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!

Hi GLC,

Thank you for your info and your ideas. The mod I made is a lot safer and I do urge you try that. I was trying to keep it simple, less riskier but still profitable. I prefer playing the H/L series. I will look at the other free system you mentioned. I'll continue to post results (later when I've time) but I'm glad you had previous good fortune using the original as did I. Someone in the chat mentioned a possible stop/exit point of -28 units.

Just did a test of 99 bets (109 spins).  I had 45 wins and 54 loses.  I never reached +7, ended at +1, highest bet + 4, largest drawdown -14.
These are the spins.

If you have time, you might play these spins to see if they come out different for you.

Hi GLC,

According to my test and IF I am right it ended up at -4. There was a high point of +6.
I would have carried on until a better result occurred.

A,

Thanks for testing my spins.  Unfortunately, I wasn't testing using the La Partage rule.  Even though neither of us got to +7,  that La Partage rule can sure make a difference with this progression.

I think this was just a bad run of spins for the stretched D'Alembert betting method.  It's not that discouraging because every system has a sequence that can kill it.  As long as there's a spin on each bet that can hurt you, it's always possible for enough of them to happen in a row to tank any system, every now and then.  Hopefully, more then's than now's.

I will continue with the spin sequence, which has another 200 spins, to see how long it takes to get to +7.  Even though it went for a long stretch without reaching our target, I don't doubt that eventually it will and there doesn't seem to be much of a risk of getting too deep in the hole with a 100 or 200 unit bank roll.

I'll let you know how it goes.  By the way, this series returned +38 units with the 1,2,4,6,10...modified fibo.  I did reach -107 units and had to win a 68 unit bet along the way.  A nice return but the possibilities of tanking out for a big loss may be too risky to be profitable in the long run.

Chin up,  George
