What is the safest roulette method in your opinion?
I was thinking about this the other day.
How do you judge a system as low risk?
Low risk low reward. High risk high reward.
Everything is relevant and anything is possible - there are no guarantees.

So what is a "safe" system?
What is more safe? A system that bets one number or a system that bets 35 numbers?
Food for thought.

Without philosophizing too much, a safe system for me is one which will not produce easily a huge loss. Martingale for example, is not a safe system.
I guess I'm not the only one to believe that the Parachute approach is an ingenious method to increase your payouts without increasing your bets. Therefore that's my choice of a "safe" system, for conservative players. There are countless variation too.

Even simpler is 3 units on 19-36, 2 units on first dozen. 81% win rate.

*Only 5 unit bet.
*Wins one unit 30/37 numbers.
*Lose 5 on 7 numbers (0 and 13-18)
*Streaks of 20 wins in a row not uncommon (1 in 66 chance)
*3/5 units on an even chance which has better odds with partage. Overall house edge on bet reduced to 1.89%

The Guetting Progression has been previously described as the 'Grinders grind'.

Or you bet 1 unit on Dozen 1 & 2 units on 19-36 and you may only have 50% chance to win, but you keep the hedge bet so 81% to not loose & only looses 3 units on a loss. Does take a lot more patience thou.

Good call. It's the kind of bet I would make when standing around looking at a wheel collecting data on spins, scatter, diamonds, and dealers. Thats if I feel I have to make a few bets to justify my existence hanging around.

Very low cost, very low risk, and very low variance.  I usually bet on black or red.  But this bet is a bit more interesting for variation though.

I also like very much this bet. Can be played in many different ways, flat bet or with progression.
Also consider 3 units on High, 2 units on 1st dozen for profit when both 1st dozen and High hit.

See my reply to your first post. Great minds and all that!

Hardly ever could anyone found method with better chance of winning 1 unit with 10 units bankroll. You start on line 10 and on win you go to line in W column and on loss you go to line on L column. Obviously line number correspond to your bankroll size at the moment. Column Pwin tells what is the overall probability of having bankroll size 11 units before having 0 units...

bankroll   bet   W   L   Pwin
0   no bet   -   -   0.0000%
1           1 unit on 8:1   9   0   8.7203%

How does one ever get to line 8 or 6 etc, or did I read it wrong ? A bit distorted on bare text.
