Hey all

I'm sure most of us know about Casino's Bonus Money etc, but what's your opinion on taking that money ?

I just opened a new account and was going to deposit Ã,£300

Then in front of me it said did I want the First Deposit Bonus, which would amount to an extra Ã,£450 making my balance Ã,£750

I logged into their chat and asked what my wager requirement would be for that and they replied Ã,£20,000
However if you lose your Deposit Money and Bonus Money the wagering requirement is waivered

SO, opinions please on what You would do and why ?

How long do you think it would take You to turnover 20k ?

Twister, I used to be against taking bonuses. On saying that, you would be surprised how quick you can turnover money playing roulette. I turned over about 500 euros from the free 10 euro chip I got from Fairway Casino. I was only betting in 10 cent chips as well.
As long as you are steady, the extra cash can help your method when you are experiencing a few downturns. Also, if you expect to come out a winner (which I hope you do  ;)) Then in many ways, it would make sense to take a bonus, it is almost like free money.
You can either look at a bonus as a positive or negative I suppose.

well it all depends on how much of the wagering is counted in % form for fulfilling the bonus requirements. Need to read the small print though. Normally roulette's % of wager is about 20 % i think ( may be wrong about that figure though).

At the same time your playing style matters as well. Players using progressions would naturally have more turnover :P people like ken!!! LOL

Lastly there have been quite a few cases of problems withdrawing bonuses ... so its better to be careful though :D. If you dont take bonuses, the likelihood of u managing to withdraw your winnings should be close to 100 %

cheers

You are right there Hamsup, it's no surprise that playing the slots counts as 100% towards bonus
I have found most of the sites that have live roulette and are more or less a dedicated roulette site will allow the bonus to count 100% towards roulette.
In fact I will name a few here.
Fairway Casino.
Castle Casino.
Dublinbet.
Smartlivecasino.
Challengejackpot.

All the above 5 are OK and you should have no problems in withdrawing any winnings should you have participated in a bonus scheme.

Fripper

Well, as others har said it is good if you play roulette and that counts towards the wagering requierements.
It's always nice to play with the casinos money.
Some bonuses have a very high wagering requierement so it is nearly impossible to clear it.
But there are also some good and much easier, look for them! Sometimes you find some very good offers (read the fine prints and talk to the support if any questions).

As in fairway casino. A 10$ offer and we can play with 0.10$, that is 100 units!
It is also a resonable wagering requierement.
All i'm doing is living my life.

Thanx guys for your opinions, I appreciate it

Yes Roulette counts towards 100% of the wagering.......if it didnt I wudnt consider it

I think the wager requierement is x40 (deposit and bonus) (or close to that)

Fripper what is it at fairway ?

Just remember that you can't take out ANY of your money until the bonus playthrough is satisfied.   Even your own initial deposit!

That rule is pretty universal with the online community.

I'm of the camp that says "Just Say No To Bonus Offers"

AD (But I'll assume I'm in the minority with that.)

Fripper what is it at fairway ?

From the fairway thread:
"No obligation at all of course!  You do not need to make a deposit, and you can withdraw any winnings after you have played through the €10 a minimum 30 times (i. e.  €300 in total wagers)"

It is a very nice offer if you ask me! :)

@Twisteruk:  I think 40 times deposit & bonus is a little high better if it were 25 times or 30 at the maximum.  Remember there's no shame in walking away from the offer.

CelticCasino

It all depends on what games they allow and the payout of each game. Some casinos will not count live roulette towards your wagering requirement. (Playtech, Casino Europa, VegasRed etc).

Some casinos do allow live roulette to count towards the wagering requirement. If your requirement is 30 times and your payout is 97.2% you have a serious chance of clearing the bonus.

Here are the casinos that I know that allow live roulette to apply towards the wagering requirements:
(1) ViG casinos (CelticCasino.com, Castle Casino, Fairway Casino)
(2) Vuetec Casinos (LuckyLiveCasino.com, dublinbet, global live casino)
