I would use reading randomness. You make the small bet be $4. You make the big bet $8 or $12. You look for the strong side of even chance bets. You look for streaks of trends or patterns that tend to keep going. An example would be a patch of spins where blacks are hitting more than reds. In another situation example odds could be hitting more than evens. During those times you bet the bigger bets on the strong side. When you can't see a strong side or a pattern then you bet the $4 bets and hope that you are not on a weak side that would have an opposite strong side that you are missing.  It's all about seeing strong sides ands weak sides.

I use a chart to help me see these sides. I fill them out after the dealer has cleared the table and while he is doing payouts. You check to see that your winning bets have not been taken away and you check to see if you are payed correctly. Once all that is clear you look at your chart for the best strong side. Then  you place your bets and do it all over again.  It's very simple and you can practice it all at home in order to get good at it. I even practice with a live feed on the internet and a real table layout and weighted clay chips. It makes practice all real.

After a bunch of testing, I have determined the following.

The least loss is made, if betting, by betting 1 unit on only 1 straight up number.

And

betting 1 unit on either Evens, Dozens, Lines, Street, Split, Square will give the same results as betting 1 straight up number over the long run. The variance is within less than 1% of each other.

Better to stand back from the table and watch, then approach the table when ready to bet. Although this covid nonsense has made that more difficult.

I don't like watching everyone play, but every once in a while, someone comes in and they got it all figured out. They just can't believe how they could possibly lose. Some get quite upset, disappear, then appear again with another wad of cash. They are going to ride the colors, they got a fool proof system going on.

My opinion and advice.

It has been statistically proven for 60.000 placed bets (not spins) that follow any colour until a profit or stop after one reversal will give you the best value for the money (with La Partage Rule).

So if you get -2 you aim to stop when back to even (reversals happens around 83%)
If you are +1 or more stop and be happy or continue until -2 and aim for a break-even.

This is based upon 100 placed bets samples and the biggest drawdown during a 100 placed bets sample is -35 units.
The worst that happen once during 60.000 placed bets.

Ok, the one who comes along and has it all figured out is a dragon. You bet with them.

The one who gets quite upset and loses only to return with more cash is a worm. You bet against them.

That is the concept of dragons & worms. It can be a very effective method.
