Suppose in one famous lottery the odds to hit the jackpot are 1:5 millions

Now after studying the previous results and doing extensive research you could shortlist the next possible results to only 800000 datasets

The question is how are you going to use these shortlisted results in order to maximize your profits ? Of course you can’t play all them at once this will cost you lots... any idea?

You are implying that there is some kind of connection or dependency between the results, and certain numbers have different odds of being drawn. Why would that be?

Here's an idea. Look at the previous results and treat each columns independently. Highlight the numbers that you think have more chance to hit, and always play the most recent ones as the repeats tend to happen on the more recent numbers.
But imho, it doesn't make much sense, you would always have 1:5 million odds.

1    21    4    12    7
16   16   13   13    9
8    19    9    14    25
35   17   21    4    8
28   16   30   35   19
8    13    33    24    28
31   21    6   13    3

Thx for the tip, let me clarify a few things

Suppose you could gather all previous draws and had also all possible combinations which counts to 5 millions

Alright? Now based on your deep research you could shortlist the possible combinations to only 800000 resultsets and then compared these to the previous draws and surprisingly found out that you have a HIT in every two draws, which dramatically exceeds the expected probability.

Now what would you call that ? A coincidence or there is definitely some correlation or hidden patterns, anyway... let’s presume that there is some hidden patterns and you calculation holds, how are you going to pick your tips from this shortlisted collection, I know that 800000 are still too much however the odds are definitely higher than picking a tip from the 5 millions pool ...

I don't know... Even 800,000 is way too many options. I don't know how you could possibly reduce it.

Compare it to roulette odds, it would be similar to hitting an EC 20 times in a row. You would need to play a very large number of spins for that to happen, possibly over a million. That would equal to a lot of lottery tickets.
Perhaps you could look at the hot and cold numbers. I don't believe it would help, but the fact is that in a set of random outcomes some numbers will repeat sever times, while some numbers won't show up at all. And a number can only repeat if it already appeared once, and only repeat 3 times if it already repeated twice, etc.

Yes, you are right !

Perhaps I should find 800000 people and give each one a combination!
I am sure then every two weeks one of them will be millionaire!

However sharing the jackpot with 800k people is also useless, in case the jackpot is 10 million each person gets 12.5 euro !! That’s peanuts...

Better than nothing, give it a try
Group effort works better. When we played with 10 of my colleagues, we won 3 weeks in a row just enough to buy new tickets.

I don't play often, I'm very unlucky with lotteries. Still, today I'm going to buy a Eurojackpot ticket for the first time in my life.  8)

Remember,  It's not only the Jackpot with 800000 or whatever the number is  .

You have 6/6-> Jackpot.
5/6 + bonus.
4/6
3/6

Free tickets.  There is a youtube video that explains this. As soon as I find it i will post it for you.

This is what I would do from the 800,000 combinations

1. Remove all previous winning combinations.
2. Remove outliers of winning combinations. For example, maybe only one winning combination had 5 numbers within a range of 10. Then I would remove every combination that had a group of 5 within a span of 10.
3. I would look at the most common gap ranges of the winning numbers and remove every combination that doesn't have those common gaps.

Yeah, the winning number could be 1,2,3,4,5, but I wouldn't be trying to find a unicorn. I would be blanketing the majority and spending the least amount of money to get the best possible odds.

To add to the previous post. If you still had 100,000+ numbers, then group them.  All combinations with 1 number between 1-10 group A, all with 2 numbers between 1-10 group B etc.

Then select one number from each group with the highest frequency from the winning numbers.

At this point, I would be just trying to win more money than I spent. The jackpot would just be a huge bonus.

Amazing,  I really appreciate your ideas !!!

Thank you very much ! Could you please explain point 2 preferably with an example ?

The shotrlisted pool and had 3 correct numbers out of 5 !!!

That's not bad. 👍 I had zero correct numbers yesterday. Well, I still have a chance to win a smaller jackpot of around â,¬400K today, with much better odds.
