What is your method of picking a winner?
Do you just look at it and quickly pick a player or a team with intuition? Or do you meditate on it, or focus on it for 10 minutes?

I don't think could do sport betting, because the odds are not equal. If you always picked the better player or team, you would most likely win more than 50% of the bets, but the payouts are not equal either so a profit is not guaranteed.
However I heard that some psychic players do well with horse races for example, because they can see the number of the horse that is going to win. I may try that in the future, but currently all my focus is on roulette.

Meditation, but it takes me between 20 minutes to an hour depending on the effectiveness of stress handling.

I agree with you on +ve EV, and always try to find any games with equal odds on both sides to maximise the return of my efforts.
