Odds and payouts are different things. If either the odds or payouts don't change, then the result is the same - eventual loss.

@Bayes........................................................Baize.?!
Felt image to follow.

Here a Typical CWB table felt layout. OK.

[attachimg=#1]

Here What happens if the result is say #2

[attachimg=#2]

Also I have shown it (Marque) landing on 3 and 27.

So original question was:-

Can U calculate how many  possible ocurrance there could be, if when a CWB is down, covering 8 splits, the results is next to one of the splits, as tho the result has landed 90* Degrees rotation from the desired outcome.

The idea is to be able to have a program, that can spot that 90* shift, and then would place the bets thus;- instead:-

Or similar movement.
Thanks for looking.

Just wanted to empty my brain, so I can load more sh1te in it, it was getting...............messy.

I'm a hoarder!!

Cheers J.

Or similar movement.

That's a bit vague, but the chance of a particular split hitting is always 2/37. However, I don't think that's what you wanted to know.  :D

Changing/moving the split, is as U say open to so much scope.

But here are the facts

The table is covered by 8 split bets, which is 16/37 coverage.

The split bets in CWB all face down (longitudinally) the Table/felt/bayes

The possible movements for the result acting at 90* clock-wise or anti-clock wise, are dependant on where the CWB splits are located, but, for the split bets located in Column 1 or Column 2- they are single directional rotations, ie . can only go either 90* clock or 90* anti-clock.
whereas, CWB bets in the 2nd Column, the movement/rotation could be in either direction.
So for Column 1 say, movement possibilities per chip bet(The chip sitting on the Split) are, Number of splits in Column #C1x2x4+1 (for zero)

For Column 3 is the same as Column 1.

For Column 2, the movement possibilities per chip bet are, Number or splits in Column #C2x2x4x4+1 (for zero)

Am on the right wave length here for my calcs?

Cause I don't know how to work out the total number of possible movements, but maybe I need to know first, all the possible CWB split settings there are ?

I think so. When you know all the possible splits for your system then you should be able to work out the number of possible adjacent splits.  :thumbsup:

BTW, why is your name a different colour? have you been promoted to some kind of mod? :)
