I have played this maybe 13 times and love it. I know 13 is not many but I'll post this regardless, there are MANY similar methods to this. This is *VERY* easy to use. Its flat betting. I bet $50 per spin, use whatever units you desire. Red/black is my starting point. Then its odd/even and last, 1-18/19-36. (I catch a streak and stay on it.) Ok, I start betting on the LAST color that hit, we'll say black.

I keep betting on whatever color just hit, hoping to get a nice streak, 8+ is nice. I switch to odd/even when things get CHOPPY with the colors. 'Choppy' is open to interpretation. Two different people might have two different definitions. If a 0/00 hits, bet on the last outcome. Lets say a 7 hit and then a 0. Next bet? Odd. Again, say the odd/evens are getting choppy. I then switch to 1-18/19-36.

Stay ON IT as long as its not choppy, use your head. If its making you some units, stay on it. Do NOT lose your entire profit (to that point) because you dont feel like switching. Again, say the 1-18/19-36 is getting choppy.....back to red/black etc. If you are betting while a PARTICULAR streak is in progress, cool, you'll be on it. If things get tough, no biggie, switch! I also use a 4x6 notebook to record everything. I know most will check out the history board but I still keep track, just in case of board mistakes.  Ken

Mr J,

Nice to see a flat bet system from the progression man.  I've never played the EC's this way, but it looks to have merit.

I have played a similar way in which I start betting on low(1-18) and stay with it as long as it's hitting.  On a loss (you could use 2 or 3 losses)  you move to the right on the board and bet Even until it loses.  Then I move to the right and bet on Red etc...  When I finally reach Hi (19-36) and have a loss, I just start over.  I was doing this to  try to create some random in my bet selection.

I will try you system and see how I do.  The copperhead in the hen-house is deciding when it's choppy enough to  move on.  It will probably take some time to hone our skill at this.

Good luck! Like I said, 'choppy' could mean different things to different people. For myself, if its around 5 losses in a row OR lose 5 out of 7, I would switch. I say use common sense.  Ken

MrJ,

This is a sweet system.  I have been testing it to see if I can go with the flow.  And I have been doing quite well.

I use a gradual progression.

It's called the Alexembert bet method.

For those unfamiliar with it, it is based on the D'Alembert which is +1 on a loss, -1 on a win.  With the Alexembert you start at 1 and instead of increasing by 1 unit on a loss, you increase by 2 or 3 or 4 units when you increase.

You don't increase after every loss.  You increase and decrease based on the number of steps you skip in your progression.

Example:  Let's say we want to jump 2 steps on a loss instead of 1.  So, our progression line will be 1-3-5-7-9-11 etc...  Now we could just play a steeper D'Alembert and move 2 units on every loss and win, but with the Alexembert we don't move up or down until we either lose or win 2 times in a row.

So, if we start by betting 1 unit and lose, we bet 1 unit again and lose.  Now we jump to 3 units. We have to lose at our 3 unit bet 2 times in a row before we can jump up to our 5 unit bet.  Before we can drop down to 3 units from 5 units, we have to win 2 times in a row.

The idea behind this bet method is to try to be betting smaller amounts when we are losing in hopes that we'll start winning when we are betting the larger amounts.

At times it works like a dream.  The largest jump progression I've tried is 1-4-7-10-13 etc...

I don't play the bet selection exactly like you do MrJ.  I watch all 3 e.c.s and anytime one of them hits 3 times in a row, I bet on that one and continue to bet on it until I see another one go 3 in a row and then I jump on whichever one that is.

If things are too choppy, I'll sit out until I start getting some streaking going and then jump back in.

I can't quantify this, but I feel like I'm definitely doing better with this method than some of the other mechanical bet selection methods that I have tried.

Plus, I feel like with as much time as I've spent clocking the wheel, I have a little edge based on experience that can't be factored in mathematically and it just may be enough to overcome the small edge the house has.

I am keeping track of my wins vs losses and if I were flat betting, I would still be ahead of the game.  Not by a whole lot, but enough so that if I could play for blackies, it would surely be worth it.

You played 4 hours to win 18 chips which is a waste of time at a buck a chip, but at $100 chips, it's a goldmine.

Some of you other guys with a lot of experience should give this a spin.  You might be surprised how it works for you.

Thanks again Ken.

Cheers,

George

Great job!

Ken

Hey Ken! Great post. Never play more than one "good" EC at the Time then?

Cheers

MrJ

Yep, only one WHILE its trending. If it gets 'choppy', switch to the next EC etc.

beretta28

what bankroll do you need,in units?

MrJ

I always love this question......Thats up to you! Of course you have to meet min. bet requirements. Its totally up to you because its flat betting but just make sure its worth your time, hourly. As far as BR? Same answer, however much you are willing to part with. I do $50 per, a 2.5K BR.

Carlitos

...... that happens a lot...... streaks on EC..... permenanzen from von Tisch 3 (am. Roulette) von 18.12.2009 -,

9-6-15 ( 3 low ) -28 ( 3 black ) -9-1-33 ( 3 Odd ) -10-32-32-36-28 ( 5 Even ).... etc....

But what do you notice when this happens -> 10-32-32-36-28.......?

I play EC on this, used to follow all 3 EC, however that is isn't good enough because the choppy thing comes along......

GLC

Carlitos,

I have been playing around with this idea and am playing a way that seems to be holding steady.  At least in these early stages.

I start by betting on Lo until I lose 2 times in a row.
I then move to Red until I lose 2 times in a row.
Then move to Odd until lose 2X.
Then Even, then Black, then Hi, then start over on Lo.

The actual sequence you bet on the e.c. may not matter.  You could use a trigger so when you lose 2 or you could wait until you lose 3 times on a particular e.c. you move to the e.c. that's seems to be trending the best.  The problem I run into is that often the trends don't always last that long.  My above bet selection can often catch some pretty good streaks.

I am using a let-it-ride bet progression which is working fine.  You have to expect a loss eventually.  Hope for later and not sooner.

My progression is 1-1-1-1-3-4-5-7-10-13-17.

I bet the 1st 1 unit and if I win, I leave the 2 units (one I bet and 1 I won) ride for the next bet.  If I win, I am up 3 units.  If I lose, I'm down 1 unit.

If I lose, I go to the 2nd 1 unit bet.  If I win, I leave the 2 units for the next bet.  If I win, I am up 2 units.  If I lose, I'm down 2 units.

Anytime I win 2 times in a row, I start over.

If I lose the whole progression, I go to a recovery progression of 1-1-1-1-6-8-10-15-20-25-35-50.  Play with this progression until you are back to even.

You could play until you recover all 63 units lost in the base progression, but that puts you at greater risk of losing the recovery progression also which is our stop-loss.

I play  until I win 50 units.  Most of the time, I win without a loss of the base progression.  My attitude is that if I lose the base progression and then recover back to even for the session with the recovery progression,  that's a break even day accept it and live to play again.

When I shoot to win 50 or lose my recovery progression, I will have more big loss days which will take me back a big step.

Once again, play to suit yourself.

Each person must learn to play a system base on their personality and betting level.

I think with practice and maybe some personal tweaks, this can be a winning system.

Good luck and thanks to Ken for the system,

George

Just played another session to +51.

Highest bet was 10 on 2 different attacks.

So far I haven't lost a base progression.

It's coming.  I can smell it.

Question is, "Will I be able to recover?"

We'll see.

George ???
