Use normal MATRIX grid of 7 showing last dozen results

Wait for a VERTICAL match

Bet ONCE ONLY for the NEXT vertical result to NOT MATCH (not form a vertical double)
So you only bet the opposite dozens.
You only consider the current line and the one above it.
Record 0 as a result.

Win or lose wait for the next vertical match before betting next result.

IMPORTANT: After a Loss (a match) wait for a NEW match before resume betting.

You could play the opposite way:

Wait for 4 vertical consecutive (back to back) non-matching doubles then bet for a match using
1,1,1,2,2,2,3,3,3,4,4,4........etc
Forward 1 on a loss; back 2 on a win
Reset when level or ahead.

UPDATE:

In the original matrix matcher rules I wait for 4 non-matches first and THEN start playing INDEFINATELY for a match using one or other of the suggested progression(s)

I think to now apply A NEW RULE:  STOP AFTER 6 CONSECUTIVE LOSING BETS UNTIL A MATCH OCCURS. After the virtual match does eventually appear then wait first for 4 non-matches as usual before resuming betting at the next level.

It just means we don't get caught up in overlong spells of play of continuous no-matches...

It should provide extra safety element and be an improve to the method.

I'm feeling happy now with this. It remains to be seen if it will stand up long term. However, I would like to *think* that it will work - and that it will consistently produce regular profits
So even at this early stage of testing I am cautiously (perhaps foolishly) optimistic that I can get continued success
If anyone wants to try and is not sure of the mechanics don't hesitate to ask for further clarification or amplification and I will do my level best to explain - but it really is essentially easy to pick up and play.
I think I prefer the "cycles" progression over my original suggested progression so that is my advice to anyone who might give it a whirl.
I would endorse JohnLegends advice about quitting when ahead by a few units and locking up winning sessions... Why not jump on board and check it out? No rush - just try and see.
It would be great to hear the test result of others experience using real or random numbers.

Hi BW,

going from 0 to -4, even though lost 2-2-2, 2-2-3? Shouldn't it be -13?

After a vertical match and subsequent 4-consecutive miss vertical trigger I commence betting at cycle 2-2-2 and do not win until the match occurs at the second stage of cycle 2-2-3. (5th bet)
At that point I have wagered a 10pt outlay - but received in return 6pts so I am at a deficit of -4pts at that stage and next time must resume betting at the start of the 2-2-3 cycle...

My next session used real numbers from Duisburg 3rd Mar 2011 #table3:

+11 in 359 spins
highest bet=4
highest cycle = 3-4-4
max d/d = 21
There was one sequence of 6 L's.
62 bets; 21 won

There were various points along the way I could have stopped also:

+9 @spin344

Longer session than normal due to less triggers & also longer recovery time, but cycle 3-4-4 is highest yet encountered...
