Yes when all get 5 pointer it sould be no problem to use a trigger:)

it actually makes perfect sense for those of us who seem to attract 5 pointers so quick  :thumbsup:

Hi Jon,

Another possibility is a progression I posted on Feb 12th:

Quote
Here is another stake system for 2doz which *might* be adaptable for the MATRIX VERTICAL.
In which case it may be a viable alternative plan should it be evident that the strike rate continues to be so good..

You do not profit on EVERY WIN therefore you must play on;  bearing in mind to ALWAYS play in accordance with the selection rules for MV.

Simply put:
On a loss the bet is increased one unit.
On a win, keep the bet the same until level or ahead
The bet is always the same for both dozens

Bet 1 = 1-1 L -2
Bet 2 = 2-2 L -6
Bet 3 = 3-3 L -15
Bet 4 = 4-4 W -11
Bet 5 = 4-4 L -19
Bet 6 = 5-5 W -14
Bet 7 = 5-5 W-9
Bet 8 = 5-5 W -4
Bet 9 = 5-5 W +1 *

Bet 1 = 1-1 L -2
Bet 2 = 2-2 W +0*
Bet 3  = 1-1 W +1*

It's actually called the King System and you can test it out at:
link:://:.loothog.com/Systems/king.html

Unfortunately, you cannot using MV rules - but you can get an idea of the mechanics.

Consider though that MV is stronger than the example dozen system used in the test,  so  in my opinion the King system for double dozens could be another choice to be considered...

But I know some won't like to use this...

Alternatively there is a smaller unit prog:

Quote
Use MV5 with matrix4 columns and dozens:
Start with 0.5 - 0.5
Always incrementing after a loss by 0.5u
However, on a win the unit progression is reduced to the absolute minimum necessary to equal the previous high when close to a full recovery (the minimum being .5 -.5) so as to curtail rising stakes - otherwise despite any win achieved the stakes continue to rise each bet by 0.5u...
I do NOT using separate bankrolls for the columns and dozens.
Yes it can take longer to win a few units - but much safer with your bankroll should you ever encounter the dreaded long losing scenario

Cheers,
A.

Here is an idea I had regarding the matrix.

1 = 1A. (The 1 represents the first dozen and the A represents the first column.)
2 = 1B. (The 1 represents the first dozen and the B represents the second column.)
3 = 1C. (The 1 represents the first dozen and the C represents the third column.)
4 = 1A.
5 = 1B.
6 = 1C.
7 = 1A.
8 = 1B.
9 = 1C.
10 = 1A.
11 = 1B.
12 = 1C.
13 = 2A. (The 2 represents the second dozen and the A represents the first column.)
14 = 2B. (The 2 represents the second dozen and the B represents the second column.)
15 = 2C. (The 2 represents the second dozen and the C represents the third column.)
16 = 2A.
17 = 2B.
18 = 2C.
19 = 2A.
20 = 2B.
21 = 2C.
22 = 2A.
23 = 2B.
24 = 2C.
25 = 3A. (The 3 represents the third dozen and the A represents the first column.)
26 = 3B. (The 3 represents the third dozen and the B represents the second column.)
27 = 3C. (The 3 represents the third dozen and the C represents the third column.)
28 = 3A.
29 = 3B.
30 = 3C.
31 = 3A.
32 = 3B.
33 = 3C.
34 = 3A.
35 = 3B.
36 = 3C.

Here are some numbers I recorded from my session at the casino earlier this afternoon.

17

Now using my chart from above, let's feed them into a matrix and see what happens.

3A  1B  1B  1C
2A  2A  2A  1C
2A  1C  2C  1A
2C  3B  2A  1C
1A  3A  3A  3B
2C  1B  1A  1A
2B  1B  2C  3B
3B  1A  2B  3B
1A  1C  1B  2A
2A  1C  2B  2C
1C  1C  2B  1C
2C  1A  3B  3B

So there you have it.

If you go to the second line in the matrix and read across, you will see 2A 2A 2A.
Now here is where I would look for the 2A to break.
That would require me to play the following numbers.
2/3, 5/6, 8/9, 11/12, 26/27, 29/30, 32/33, 35/36. That comes to 8 splits.
You will find all the possible bets for this method will come to 8 splits.

That bet would have won because after 2A 2A 2A, you will see that 1C arrived.

The only other bet in the matrix was in the second column going down vertical.
You will see 1C 1C 1C.
I would look for the 1C to break.
That would require me to play the following numbers.
13/14, 16/17, 19/20, 22/23, 25/26, 28/29, 31/32, 34/35. Once again, only 8 splits.

That bet would also have won because after 1C 1C 1C, you will see that 1A arrived.

I like this bet because the outlay is less than playing two dozens. You could use a longer progression if you wanted. Also you are looking for a combination of a dozen AND a column together to keep repeating to defeat you.

I would play more or less the same way some of you guys are playing the other matrix ideas.
Play after the third repeat (as shown in the examples above) and if it does not win, wait for another three to appear and try again. Because you are only betting 8 splits, you should be able to stretch some kind of betting progression to allow this to be almost unbreakable.

I thought of this idea well doing my shopping early this morning when deciding between bananas or oranges. It just shows you my mind is pretty screwed up, LoL.

Good luck.

p.s. It's probably a good idea to stick a chip on the zero as well.

Thats really impressive  :thumbsup:

You play vertical as well as horizontal ?

Have you tried other Matix like 5x 7x etc or is 4x the preferred choice ?

Thanx for sharing  :thumbsup:

Twister,

This is really my first look into this whole matrix idea. I like the concept of it.

With this idea, I don't know if there would be enough bets waiting for any more than 3 qualifiers. (maybe 4 at a push)

I think this could be played both vetical and horizontal otherwise there will not be many bets.

I will spend a few days doing some testing and come back with my results.

At the end of the day, if it can produce a few units profit more often than not, what more can any of us ask for.

Thanks guys for giving me some inspiration to come up with the idea.  :thumbsup:

Hi FlukeyLuke,

I agree. Nice idea. I am not so sure about the horizontals though... but hey, if it works because of the doz/col combo link then it is just great :)
I had thought about recording that way for cols and doz to save recording in 2 separate matrices; but never thought about SPLITS!
Thanks,
A.

Flukey

Look at the doubles in ure Matrix not becomin Trebles

To me that really stands out, based soley on this one example of course

It needs lookin into for sure

I will do some testin also  :thumbsup:

I would suggest you start a new thread with ure post about this as post one and lock it until testin has started. Just a suggestion, up to you of course  :)

Has anyone tryed running matrixes against sectors or streets? or would that progression be too high?

or we could push it the other way,bet numbers and letters separate,you get 3A,BET FOR  BC,when we get 3(1) we bet for 2 and 3 and when we get say 4(1A) bet 2B,2C,3B,3C

Hello again guys.

I stuck my idea in the Testing Zone section and I am going to do some testing with it over the next few days.

Let's not get too carried away and move away from the original idea in this thread.

Feel free to post any of your ideas or testing results over in the Testing Zone section.

thanks.

Hi Jon,
If playing MV5 I have been sticking to the rules and using the waiting for a trigger and then using 3STEP 1-1,3-3,9-9.  I haven't done many test sessions but I have won them all usually quitting when +1 or +2.
I have used similar variant to KING in some other posted ideas involving double dozen bets.
