Yes, windows software seems the ubiquitous way to deliver. At least first releases.


I'm most certain some linuxites will cast their choice too.

No doubt a piece of software must be thought to be windows-based first and then to make the ports.


The other option is -of course- making web-based software which is immediately cross-platform

I use Linux - Ubuntu ...

I got office for free - create pdf by default - no intrusion or virus - much faster and stable then Windows  and free ...

Even run Roulette Extreme on my Ubuntu system

Hey Coxx, java is very good indeed. Let me congratulate you for mastering the Java programming language.

Personally, I still would prefer everything "web-based" for the cross-platform availability as well as everybody using the latest version automatically since it runs from a centralized server. A single version change in the server and voilá! Everybody is running the newest

I think of making a testing-only website for roulette systems soon, and I'm choosing web-based for those reasons.

Me switched to Linux (Ubuntu) today.


Can't say what a big relief. I think windows are past for me now.


Especialy because of viruses and all other kind of malwares. I had quite big problems with it, although i study informatics and i am quite knowledable for protecting my self from that, but sometimes you just can't defend yourself from threats that are improving their ability to damage you day by day.


And when you encouter these things you litterary want to throw your PC against the wall. Especilay when your PC gets infected seriously and best most common solution is re-instal your OS. Argh...


On Linux that is quite another story.


Now i even dont have AV protection , but dont tell the viruses that 


Even Ubuntu is one of most user friendly distributions, still you will need to make some accomodations by using commands, which could be big pain in the a*se for a newbie or person who sees linux for the first time.


But on the other hand, everything you need google has for you. Just write what you need and you will get explanations and commands for anything you can think oh. I did that for some things.


Now my PC and OS works like best Philip Patek watch


Also i shame myslef now why i didn't do this much earlier.

Welcome to Linux, I'm sure you won't regret the switch. These days it's just as easy to use as Windoze, if not easier, but if you want to play around 'under the hood' there's plenty of scope for that too.
