A ship moored in the harbour is safe, but that's not what ships are made for.

For example, there's the bike's number plate in full view -- information that can probably help identify the owner. (It certainly can where I live.)
Thanks for the note of caution but I did sleep in a Holiday Inn last month and have taken the liberty of "editing" my license plate before posting.

However, your words of caution are to heeded by everyone who may post up here.

Thanks

ADulay... if i was to go put 'packing a piece' i would be arrested in no time for possessing a fire-arm and would probably be locked up more or less on the spot, especially if i had a little previous!

Indeed. Don't worry! It was removed by staff.

Well, it wasn't perceived as your legitimate picture.

Doesn't everyone?

Seriously, yes I do.  A lot of times concealed but when the option presents itself, I carry openly, which is most of the time these days.

To head off the next obvious question, the answer is....  "because I can."

It's one of the few things around here that is expressly allowed by state statute!

In 1999, the total number of people killed by guns in the USA was 28,874. In Britain, the figure was 207.

I hope and pray we never have your "freedom"

What's the point?

It was actually funny here in this thread and was only posted for a laugh with no offense intended. ADulay might have got a giggle from it too.

Now it is just silly and meaningless... sheesh!

The funniest thing is:

being naked is a crime in america. Less people die being shocked by a naked person, than by an bullet from a shooting they are not involved

The home of the brave: They are so brave that they have to carry a gun
The home of the free: So free to be shot by anyone who is free to carry a gun
There is always a game

To be fair the population of the US is 5 times greater than the UK, so the real figure for Britain should be 1035. Lol.
