Here I use the same progressive cycle betting and playing an adaptation of the FLEX system for ECs.
(following the occurrence of singletons and doubletons and betting accordingly)
I played on BVNoZero on Red/Black EC.

I tell you why I like this basic idea.

First of all it use the principle of singles and series and that's a good thing.
This is the values; the math behind it.
Singles has the value of 1 and series has the value of 1, no matter how large series there is.

Well so we have a 1/3 situation of singles and series "trending" and they come in small and large waves.
When waves gets dominant they make the statistical ecart (SD) get stronger and we win.
If its start to hovering at zero point we win.

There is 3 waves, one is when series chop,
RRRBBBRRBBBBRRRBBBB / WWLWWLWLWWWLWWLWWW.
The second one is when singles alternate,
RBRBRBRBRBRBRBRBRBR / LWLWLWLWLWLWLWLWLWLW.
The last wave is when it hits zero point with values of 101010101010
RRRRBRRRRBRRRRRRRRRR / WWWWLWWWWLWWWWWWW.

Well there is more good news, every time we fail to ride the waves we end up with only two loses LL.
Every time one wave ends it does so with two loses LL.

This is a very nice basic strategy and it is based upon the law of series, no patterns, so here we can measurement the waves and using math.
that's why I like Flex and I hope there will come some good out of it when I am done studying it.

To explain how to bet I quote from a member on another roulette site:

Quote
Example:
R
B ...Black is a singleton, since it was followed by R   Circle it.  The next time B appears, bet that it will be a single B by betting on R.
R

Quote
Example:
R
B
R
R ...RR is a doubleton.  Circle it.  The next time your get an R, bet for a second R to follow.  [***Naturally, B must occur first***]
What if you get RRR or RRRR or more?  Well, before you got RRR you had RR, correct?  You still bet for your doubleton when the time comes.

Quote
Example:
R
B
R
R ...Here's your doubleton.  Circle it.
B
R ...After this, bet for second R.
As soon as you have bet, win or lose, scratch through your circle so you'll know it is dead.  This can be a fun method of play and using a progression could be exciting!

Unlike previous posts in the topic this is not a MATRIX system. It *might* be better than the ideas I have already posted though...
Can be applied to the other ECs also.

A,

I like this using the Flex bet selection method.   And I'm starting to like your 3 step levels also.

I've adapted you progression to another bet selection method I came up with.  I always have a tendency to go a little more aggressive.  I think in the long run it's just a matter of going a little deeper in the hole and a little higher on the wins.  If one busts they probably all bust.

I must admit that your progression line can be played at a higher unit value and if you think about it, that negates the reason for a more aggressive line.  That's an important thought.  May change my whole perspective.

Glad we had this little chat.

Your Friend,

George
In my case it doesn't matter.  I'm both!

Hi George,
Yes it is interesting way to play...
In the flex system doc it says:

Quote
In a normal session FLEX quickly will reach some units of profit. If singles and series of two alternate on the black - or red side over a longer period of time it might become difficult. In this case, you should stop precautionary after three consecutive losses and continue betting only after the next fictitious plus.

Betting against all three double even money chances would therefore be commendable, because profits of the one chance can compensate for possible losses of another bad-running chance. So, if you are not afraid of two or triple bets, test the strategy on all three double even money chances
simultaneously.

You could also play with the Contre D'Alembert progression.
With the Contre d`Alembert the bet size is raised one unit after a win, and lowered one unit after a loss. The first bet is always 1 unit.

I didn't stop after 3 L's in succession until a virtual win in my tests... But maybe this is a good safeguard and advisable. It most surely would have helped especially in my last longer session, I feel.

George, In future tests I will add in the rule to wait until fictive win after 3 LLL's in a row and see...

Bet only when R;R or B;B indicated by dbl and chop/streak.
Use prog 1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4..............

Same thing as before.
This method helps in making a decision upon which side of the EC to bet...

First record two results...

It kinda auto-selects the bet for you when the decision before last (dbl) and the play for alternating chop/streak (opposite/same) both match up.

The first bet to be made in the below example is when dbl (B) equals the chop of the LD (last decision)
That was R - so the chop would be to play for B - so it is a match!
On the next decision (win or lose) you consider the dbl and the streak (same) as LD to see if they match...
Whilst the dbl is always fixed the chop/streak prediction alternates each spin.
If and when a 0 occurs as below (whether win, lose or no bet) the previous 2 real numbers are used in the calculation.

B             +0

R             +0              dbl=B       chop=B   bet B @ 1u

R    L       -1               dbl=R       streak=R  bet R @ 1u

R    W     +0               dbl=R       chop=B

R             +0              dbl=R        streak=R  bet R @ 1u

R    W      +1              dbl=R       chop=B

B              +1              dbl=R      streak=B

0               +1              dbl=R       chop=R      bet R @ 1u

B    L        +0              dbl=B       streak=B     bet B @ 1u
