Anyone heard of San Miguel Lloyd?  I was gambling in Shreveport Louisiana and some guys were using some system that had notepads for tracking and such.  They seemed to be up.  I asked them about it on the side and they gave me a business card that had a link to a book titled TOPA's Hot Roulette.

Has anyone seen or heard of these guys?  I am curious enough that I have ordered a copy of the book.  What little bit that I spoke to them, they said one method of play used street bets to make a $1 profit on a $5 table and they just grind it out over time and earn comps.

If anyone can shed some light on these guys that would be great.  Otherwise, I will wait on my copy of the book to come in.

I ordered a copy of the book and will post a review soon.  From what I have read so far, it seems to have some merit.  I will do some tests on some of the methods of play and see if I come out ahead.

Some of the names of his methods are pretty humorous (ie. Balls to the Wall, Hold and Pucker, Walk the Dog, and Kamikaze to name a few).

I noticed the book is also available on Barnes and Nobel now: link:://:.barnesandnoble.com/w/topas-hot-roulette-san-miguel-lloyd/1104458880?ean=9781604819038&itm=1&usri=topa

It is cheaper there than on WordClay.

Ok.  I have attempted to use some of the strategies I have read in the book.  It makes reference to primary groups and master groups.  Master groups are groups of 12 (ie. 1-12, etc.) and Primaries are groups of 6 (ie. 1-6, 7-12).   I used a method he refers to as Top 5 and then did some tracking on the even money bets (black/red, odd/even, etc.) as well as Column bets.   By playing his method of playing the Top 5 qualifying Primary groups along with qualifying even money and column bets, I was able to make 80 units in a three hour period of play.

From reading the book, the goal is to make your profits and then know when to walk away.  With Top 5 and a good steady dealer, that they were able to play for multiple hours are a minimal buy in racking in comps for rooms and meals.   They also discussed how to qualify other bets, as I learned, to help make up for some of the bad trends that may happen, such as 0/00 hits, or mush dealers.

The book made mention of the use of a buddy system to help nullify bad streaks and keep the overall bottom line.  Two or three buddies playing different systems at the same time to help cover larger bets if one them gets into trouble to keep from hitting the table limit.  I tend to stay away from those systems.

Overall, his Big Four and Top 5 systems are pretty simple flat bets that will churn out a unit or two per spin as long as 0/00 stays away.   I will try to learn some of the other systems as well.  Shotgun seems to be one that plays on the randomness of the result and a lightening strike.   I had a friend try it in Vegas last week and was lucky enough to hit for a $254 profit.  He also played Top 5 for 5 hours and came out $45 ahead.  He said he ran into a streak of 0/00 and had to walk away from the table until that dealer left.  Once the dealer left and a new one came on, he was able to make it back into the black and walk away with $45.   He said prior to the mush dealer, he was up $90.

I hope to make a trip to a casino in the next month to try Top 5 for myself.  From my tests, some of his methods of play seem to have merit.

Last year I ran into some friends of San Miguel Lloyd in Lake Charles Louisiana, I watched them use "Trending Sheets".  They told me about the book he was working on, TOPA's Hot Roulette.  A few weeks ago before my wife and I went to Vegas I googled it and found the book.  It was an easy read.  When we were in Vegas July 9th I showed my wife one of the easy games, Top 5.  The tables on the strip were always packed, so we found  roulette machines.  I showed her how to bet using Top 5 and she had a blast!  She always left a machines up.  Downtown we were able to get on the tables and did pretty well.  At the Gold Nugget I turned a $35 buy in into $247 by using a game called Shotgun.  Over all the "Little Black Book" helped us out and we had fun.  Before the Vegas trip I tried out some of the games online and did quite well there too!  Over all I would have to say I enjoyed the book.

hi does anyone know if the book can be downloaded

bafoofa

I have done some searches and did not find it out there as a download.  I e-mailed toparoulette (there was an email address at the back of the book to contact for ordering trending pads) and the reply I got back was that they were looking into it.

So, my guess is that it may be out for download in a month or so?

joiner29

thanks for taking the time to check that out

hanshuckebein

I ordered a copy at amazon as it was cheap.

well, and cheap are the systems and ideas Lloyd offers:

- renaming doz. 1 to Master Group 1 (M1) or dblstr. 1 to Primary Group 1 (P1) doesn't mean anything.
- explaining the martingale for the 1.000000th time is more than unnecessary
- explaining the basics and payouts of roulette is also not very necessary
- introducing systems like: bet 1 unit on mastergroup 1, next bet 1 unit on mastergroup 2, next bet one unit on mastergroup 3, then start over with mastergroup 1 etc. is just a bunch of bs. (even if he gives this sytem a fancy name like walk the dog  :D ).

in my opinion: just a waste of money and time and to be avoided.  >:(

cheers

Hi All

It seems that I was right that someone is selling something.

I can tell you this for sure. If a method is given here for free it is because that person is justing trying to help even if it doesn't work it was for free.

But people that try and sell something here is just trying to make money, and they don't give a shi* about nothing but money.

I gave my method away for free here. Never did ask for a penny. Also I have the ONLy system
that really works, flat betting. But it seems people get mad at you when you go against their thinking even if the system works.

Remember this at all time my friends. If someone tries to sell something it won't work.

AS I did I gave away for free the only system that made World History and did it live on the internet and beat three table games using flat betting and beat all three.

In short if you're not using my system it won't work.

I guess I had different luck.  I just got back from the casino yesterday (I made a day trip) and must of hit a good trend.  I played what he referred to as Top 5 for about 6 hours and I came out $65 dollars ahead.   I hit a few bad spots where 0/00 came up but otherwise I stuck with it and ground out a small profit.   I was also able to get my room comp'd and a few free buffets.  I guess in big time gambling terms that wasn't much, but it made me happy.

As I read the book, I kind of figured the doubling up on losing bets isn't a good way to gamble.  I stuck with the simple flat betting Top 5 system and did fine overall.

Sorry you guys didn't have as much luck as I did.
