Well... I dont know yet if this works, but I think it can get even better. Heres how:

1st enhancement:

Instead of playing allways, choose the 2 dozens as you normally would and play virtually until you have a series of losses, then wait for a vitual win. Do the calculations as winner3 showed us and then bet as he described;

2nd enhancement:

Instead of tracking only 1 group of 2 dozens... track the 3 groups possible of 2 dozens! Dozen 1-2; 2-3;1-3 . Then, also track the columns in the same way.

Of course something like this needs... a system to track and do the calculations. And it also needs to be tested...

I have read the opening post 2 or 3 times but still cant get it in my head properly, if you could do a simple explanation so I don't need to think too much then I will have a go with it.
There's only one way forward, follow random, don't fight with it!

Ignore a thread/topic that mentions 'stop loss', 'virtual loss' and also when a list is provided of a progression, mechanical does NOT work!

superman just read the post with his example and you will get everything you need  ;)
What we need is new thinking...

Have a good luck with that system  You might get lucky with anything, and yes, this one recovers. There is a result from my quick and probably not much precise implementation. Enjoy results and DON'T think about flutuations much

Seriously - ZERO IS A BIG CULPRIT THERE!!!

CALCULATIONS OF THE WINNERS AND LOSERS

Must we calculate the loses of the whole game or just the losses between two winners?
:-\ :-\

RouletteExplorer

Ludo you must calculate the losers and the winners of all the session.
When u are + , then u are starting a new session with just 1 and 1 chip on the dozens.

mr.ore I know that you told not to care about the fluxuations BUT i can see a -2000 loss  :o
Ofcourse the possitive is that it recovered. LoL  Very nice

Do u know what was the maximum bet that you had to do in the testing?
Thanks

OMG !
-25.000?  O0

This is madness !  :'(
Lets all hope that you made a mistake on your program  :P

I am wondering where  is WINNER3 ..... hahahhaa
What we need is new thinking...

mr.ore

No, there is no mistake, I just did not set any limits to see if it recovers, some systems do not recover even when there is no bet limit, this one at least recover if it can.

Only difference is that I limit bet so that it does not win more than 1 unit in a session. There is a big differnce in no-zero roulette, maybe some big bets should be somehow postponed after a concentration of hits on zero...

RouletteExplorer

Are you sure that you made the program to make the calculation ONLY after the Winning spins???  :-\
What we need is new thinking...

xxlakis

It still needs a hit rate of 66%(not counting zero) to recover from losses,so...

mr.ore

bet = ceil(-session_balance/(1.5*loses-wins))

ceil = always round up, ceil(1.001)=ceil(1.1)=ceil(1.6)=2

session balance = we start with 0, as we lose it is negative, therefore minus in formula
loses = number of loses in a session
wins = number of wins in a session

reset session on balance greater or equal zero

do number of loses and wins reset to zero after a hit, or only at the session reset?

mr.ore

Reseting loses and wins counts after a hit:

Just another two dozens progression, just as expected. or maybe I have something wrong...
