Well in simple terms, it can't BUT, you could use IP masking but I doubt anyone would go through all that ballache just to lock a thread, they would probably do more damage if totally invisible, so ................... ?

i have no reasons to lie. and we know what happened to Twister as well. we both are no control freaks.

if i was to lock this topic and then changed my mind i would unlock it without drawing any attention.
but basically i don't know how to do it and have no interest in knowing it. Again -- i am not a control freak, and i never intended to be a Mod here because the mods already were here quite well moderating, and because there was no real need for another mod in my opinion. But since Steve says he prefers me to be a mod of course i did not avoid it, just in case it could be needed.

we are adult people and not kindergarden kids which just want or don't want some toys to play with .

The only way the ip address in the moderation log can be changed to a specific ip address is if someone had access to the actual database. Only two people have access: me and victor. Neither of us would have motive to do it.

And I believe Iggiv as an honest person. What most likely happened was an accidental locking of topic. But he would have no motive to lock it. With Twisteruk, I dont know what happened as I dont know the guy.

thanx Steve. not only i did not have a motive, also i don't know how to lock  topics and have no interest in locking. the only thing i would like to learn is this: how in this forum i can censor (edit) some messages just in case of personal attacks. i don't have a menu for it, i have only "remove" or "split" option. I do not intend to remove messages if they are about discussing roulette, even if they content some personal attacks. in old VLS i usually edit them with warning, and it works fine mostly.
