Here's a flatbet system that is based on parlays.

The pros for this bet system is that you only have to bet 1 unit of your money after each loss.  This means you are always in control of how much you want to risk.

The cons are that we need to get a series of wins in a row to reach a new high.  How many wins in a row depends on how many losses it takes to get to the series in a row.

We only bet 1 unit.  If we lose, our next bet is 1 unit.  If we lose, our next bet is 1 unit. etc....

We will keep track of how many 1 unit bets we have lost and once we have made a 1 unit bet, we will not take any money off the table until we have more on the table than we have lost up to that time.

Example:  Let's say we have lost 2 units.  We bet 1 unit and it wins, we now have 2 units on the table, but 1 of them is ours original bet and doesn't count.  That means we have to leave the 2 units on the table for our next bet.  If it wins, we will have 4 units on the table. 1 unit is our original bet and 3 units are wins from the casino.  We were down 2 units and now we have won 3 units so we are up +1 unit.  We can now take all our money off the table and start over at 1 unit.

Example:  Let's say we have lost 21 units.  We bet 1 unit and it wins.  That's not enough to cover the lost 21 units so we leave both units on the table and it wins.  4-1=3 units is still not enough.  So we leave the 4 units on the table and it wins. 8-1=7 units is not enough.  Leave the 8 on the table and it wins. 16-1=15 units is still not enough so we leave the 16 units on the table and we win.  32-1=31 is enough to cover the 21 lost units and leave us +10 units.  So we take all units off the table and start over at 1 unit.

Had we lost anywhere in the above example, we would have added 1 unit to the lost 21 units and we would be trying to recover 22 units.  Every time we lose before we win enough to recover all previous lost units, we add 1 more unit to the lost units number and keep playing until we get enough wins in a row or parlays to finally win more than we had lost.

I don't suggest going beyond a 7 step parlay.  If you lose 128 units before hitting a parlay that reaches a new high, you just have to take the loss.

If you stop at the 5 parlay level, you will lose 32 units as a stop loss.

Here's the progression:
If lose       If win       # of Parlays
-1                +1                1
-2                +2                2
-3                +1                2
-4                  0                2
-5                +3               3
-6                +2               3
-7                +1               3
-8                  0               3
-9                +7               4
-10              +6               4
-11              +5               4
-12              +4               4
-13              +3               4
-14              +2               4
-15              +1               4
-16                0               4
-17              +15             5
-18              +14             5
-19              +13             5
etc...

You should get the idea.  You can go as far as you want, but that more parlays it takes to win, the less likely you are to get it.  If you have enough money, you might never lose playing this way, but the units won per bet would be extremely low and probably not worth playing.

Test it for yourself and see how you like it.

So far this is a beauty.

I've played a few session down at the local casino.  Airball.  0/00.

I'm killing them.

I take 200 chips with me and I've never had to go beyond 60 chips before getting back to plus.

I limit my parlays to 6.  If I need more than 6 to fully recover then it takes more than 1 win to recover.

So far, this is the easiest money I've ever made playing roulette.  It can take quite a few spins between some wins, but because I always start with only 1 of my chips, it feels like taking candy from a baby.  And the casino's the baby.

Someone pinch me to make sure I'm not dreaming.

Oh, by the way, I'm using the "find the dominant e.c." bet selection for this hosing I'm giving the casino.

Okay, they're not too worried because I'm only playing for quarters.  But, just wait until I grow up!

Wish me luck,

George

I don't totally get this part.  Are you saying that with a bigger bankroll one could play for longer parlays?

Yes.  I keep forgetting that at some online casinos like betvoyager the spread between minimum and maximum bets is huge.

Here at my local casino all I can play for is quarters and all I have is a 1 quarter minimum bet and a 100 quarters maximum bet.  That limits the number of parlays because a losing streak can reach the max pretty quick.  Or should I say a winning streak.  Actually it is a losing streak on the flatbet and a winning streak on the parlays.

Thanks Wally,  I don't know about killing them.  That was a stretch.  Squeaking out a few peanuts is more like it.
Oh well, on a good day I can pay for a couple of beers and a steak lunch.  I say lunch because I have to be home for dinner or the Mrs. gets a little miffed.  You'd think at 62 I could have a little freedom.  Just kidding.

I've dropped my number of parlays to 3.  This keeps thing moving at a quicker pace.  If I start getting too deep in the hole, I bump it up to 4 parlays.  I can go higher if I feel I need to, but so far no need.

Good luck all,

George

Parlay turns tables on casino.

Martingale, win 1 till lose.

Parlay, lose 1 till win.

If always lose playing martingale.

Always win playing parlay?

Nate
Don't think that because your system has never lost, it can't lose.  Always be prepared for the worst.

GLC

That Nate, he's certainly got a way with words.

Here's a minor twist on my flatbet parlay.

On a standard parlay, you continue to let it ride for however many parlays you want to go for.  A loss before reaching the pre-determined number of wins in a row results in a loss of 1 unit or whatever unit amount you started with.

I know I've posted a partial parlay bet similar to this a couple of years ago, but it's worth resurrecting from the dead.

A four in a row win with a normal parlay nets you 15 units. 1=2=4=8=16-1=+15.
Any loss along the way costs you your starting unit.

A partial parlay is like this:  1=2=3=5=11.  Okay, so we only win 11 units with 4 wins in a row, but here's what happens if we lose before 4 wins.

If lose           Bet amount          If win
-1                           1                     +1
-1                           2                     +3
0                           3                      +6
+1                         5                      +11

The chart reveals that we only lose our initial bet amount if we lose on the 1st or 2nd parlay.
Since we only bet a partial parlay on the 3rd let it ride, a loss results in a break even because we won 4 units but only bet back 3.
A loss on the 4th partial parlay still nets us +1 and a win nets us +11.  +1 because we had won 3 times in a row netting us +6 and now we're only betting 5 units so a loss still leaves us ahead +1.

Like I said above we only win 11 units instead of 15 units playing this way, but the trade-off is that we don't lose our initial bet as often.

This parlays works very often. I have done it a lot at BV. If we use  0.05 cent and NZ we need only 10.00 Euro to get 200 trials.
I use to follow the last, to easy find a streaking color. In 200 trials it is a reasonable chance to get seven in a row, just check it out, it is not so rare some martingaler thinks.

In an other forum I show some play which went very well. And of course we can lose, but we will never be forced to stake our bankroll fast, we have  200 trials in 200 units.

The zero will not cut a streak either at NZ.  To use it at a 00 wheel is harder, if you do not have surrender.
The best way to fail, is not to try!
