My wife now plays online roulette more often than me. Her sister now stays in our house, playing roulette with her. Their mother never against us, so does my son.

My wife and her sister never gamble in their lives, before I introduce roulette to them. 

They only play using my excel, can't play without it. Perhaps they don't feel like gambling.

Do any of your family/friends slam you, insult you or crack jokes because of playing roulette or gambling in general?

Lets be honest, if you are a constant loser, I can't say I blame them. Myself, I can net 3K for the day and get evil looks (and remarks) from family/friends. Not so much for being jealous but because its NOT the PROPER way to earn a living. (No, roulette is not my only source of income)

Question being, do you guys also get this treatment?

I only go to the casino with the wife anyhow so she enjoys it as much as me. My mother is a different bag. I think when we mentioned we go to the casino, she heard it as "mother, we have both started taking heroin"

the most I lose is £50 on a real bad night. The most i win is £120. Im even I guess. I dont lose enough dosh to say its the end of roulette.

I was talking to a guy in the casino who had lost £14000 that week. It was weds...so I assume "this week " was 3 days.

One of a few here that is no BS guy. He reports what at best happens to most in roulette...breaking even.  As an successful long time gambler you sure know that even without knowing details of his game plan.

My reply is not to interfere with your question directed  at Mr J but smart and experienced as well  as professionnal  gamblers attempting to win this amount  of $ 3,000 consider taking $ 60,000 to the casino .They consider their  intelligent win goal to be 5 % of that amount.

Taking $ 2, 000 to a casino your  win goal  should  be  not higher than 20 %. The higher the amount  one takes to a casino the lower  the percentage   of the win goal   should be.
