You played it almost correctly but there was 4 DS before therefore you should start to bet when zero came and if you win don't count the last winning number into the waiting period.
I would wait for 3 new different DS as a trigger to bet. Eg. 22-24-36-14 the 22,24 is 4DS you start to count from 36,14 and wait for one more diff. DS.
