The first step in winning is to stop loosing.
Why do most people lose at gambling? It is because they lose multiple bets in a row.  I repeat, losses in a row are why most systems fail in the long run.
To prevent these consecutive losses from killing you, you must STOP BETTING after a pre-determined number of losses.
Limit your losses to 2 in a row when playing the double dozens.  I know that this negates a lot of my other double dozen systems.  So be it!
For this presentation we will be betting the last 2 DOZENS to hit.
When you are covering 2/3 of the board, most losses are single losses. 
When you are covering 2/3 of the board,  most Wins come in sets of 2 or more. 
So, since we expect a win after a loss most of the time, we will increase our bet after a loss. 
Since most of our wins come in sets of 2 or more, we will increase our bet after the 1st win.

Bet 1 on each dozen until you lose.  Since we expect to Win after a loss most of the time, our next bet is 3 on each dozen. If you win, you will have recovered your lost units +1.  Normally at this point we would drop back to our base bet of 1-1 until our next loss but since we know that most wins come in pairs or more, we will only drop down to 2-2 hoping to catch the next win.  If we do Win at 2-2 we will drop down to our base bet of 1-1 until our next loss.
If we have a loss and we increase our bet to 3-3 and we lose that bet also, we will stop betting until we have a virtual win.  Since we are playing to catch 2 wins in a row, we will bet 2-2.  If we win this bet we will drop down to 1-1 until we lose at which time we bet our 3-3 bet again.
If we lose 2 times in a row again, we end that attack and move up our progression with a base bet of 2-2 unless we won 4 or more units while betting between the 2 sets of losses.
That's our basic system.  Read thru it a couple of times and I think you will get the gist of it.
We're basically betting for a win after a loss and a win after a 1st win and once we win while betting on either of the wins, we continue to bet until our next loss.
WIN TARGET
The win target is 10 units.
PROGRESSION
So our progression is
1-1; 3-3
2-2; 6-6

BANKROLL
You need to buy in for a minimum of 24 units but I suggest a buy-in of 72 units.  That gives you 3 shots at winning 10 units.
As soon as you are ahead by 10 units or lose 24 units take a break of 1 hour, 5 hours, or 1 day etc...
One suggestion is to wait until you have a loss and then start betting 1-1.  If you win, you will have won +1 just as if you had lost 1-1 and then won 3-3.  Also, if you win, be sure and bet 2-2 because you will be looking for that 2nd win.
Another option, increase to only 2-2 after a loss instead of 3-3.  This makes for a longer session, but requires less captial to play.  A 54 unit buy-in is all that's needed for this level of betting.
As with "ALL" systems, contrary to what the author may insist, this system can be tweaked to suit your likes and dislikes.  Feel free to share any tweaks that you think improve the system with the rest of us.

One other option to make the overall system a little less volatile is to forego betting 2-2 for the 2nd win in a row.  Let's leave that for a different system.


In other words, only bet 1-1 until a loss then bet 3-3 looking for a single loss.  If win drop to 1-1 until a loss then bet 3-3 again etc...
If we lose the 3-3 bet we stop betting until a virtual win and then we start betting at our next level in the progression of 2-2 until a loss then we bet 6-6 looking for our win after a single loss.  Stay at 2-2 and 6-6 until our 8 lost units are recovered then drop back to 1-1 and 3-3.

In this way, we will be betting 1-1 / 3-3 and 2-2 / 6-6.

This keeps things a lot cleaner.  It also fits our stop loss better.

A fairly difficult session but still haven't been more than -100 units in the hole.  Granted a loss on one of the 24-24 unit bets would have put us past -100 and one of the 24-24 unit bets could just as easily lost as won.  Still, with enough bank, I think this is a pretty solid system.

P.S.  One final option:  To make this a safer bet, wait for 2 virtual wins before you can resume betting after having 2 losses in a row.  For maximum safety these virtual wins should be in a row but to speed the game up and add moderate safety they can have 1 loss between them.  If they have 2 losses between them, you must treat the double loss like any other and wait for either (least safe) 1 virtual win, (moderate safety) 2 virtual wins out of 3 bets or (most safety) 2 virtual wins in a row.

And remember, if you don't like steep progressions, you can play our original bet progression of 1-1 & 3-3;  then 2-2 & 6-6.  This is a winning bet although it can be a grind when you have a covey of double losses.

I think that the variation that I am going to add here for analysis is a very strong one and worth consideration.  During this betting strategy, you will not be betting on the zero(s). Here is how we track these spins- First we set up what I like to call 3 groups (A, B and C) Group A will contain the 1st and 2nd dozens, Group B will contain the 1st and 3rd Dozens and Group C will contain the 2nd and 3rd dozens. We wait for ideal times before we start our betting. we base our probability
of winning off of a 64% chance (for the DOUBLE ZERO wheel)

The table will show the last 15 or so spins, so you can start betting almost immediately.
You can choose to play only one of the three "double-dozen" groups: A, B, or C. Or, you can play two of the groups, or all three groups. It is best, however, to keep track of all three groups. Only one of the three "double-dozen" groups will have a stronger advantage over the short term.

    1st you'll want to memorize what the groups represent:
        A = 1st dozen + 2nd dozen (1-12 & 13-24);
        B = 1st dozen + 3rd dozen (1-12 & 25-36);
        C = 2nd dozen + 3rd dozen (13-24 & 25-36).

        You will write the roulette numbers drawn in the first row and the W+/L-
        streaks in the next 3 rows.
EXAMPLE:
            11 21  7 32 25 2  2 29 23 7 29 28  7 34 27
        A: +  +  + -  -  +  + -  +  +  -  -  +  -  -
        B: +  -  + +  +  +  + +  -  +  +  +  +  +  +

Here, We apply the same betting principles presented above. The structures of the W+/L-
streaks are very close to the W+/L- streaks encountered in the system above. Keep in mind this mathematical rule- When the probability is significantly above 50%, most of the winning streaks (W or +) are two in length or longer (WW, WWW, WWWW, etc).

On the other hand, most of the losing streaks (L-) are singles (LWWLWLWWWLLWLW...).
When betting, we know that only rarely will we encounter:
1. More than three consecutive groups of LL or longer (LLL, LLLL, etc)
2. More than three consecutive groups of single W (or +).
Based on these two probability facts, we can devise two betting
methods.

First, We check to see which of the groups A, B, C has two or more
consecutive groups of LL(--) or longer. At the end of two consecutive groups of LLW or longer
(LLLW, LLLLW, etc.) we place one unit bet on a dozen and another unit bet on the other
dozen of the A, or B, or C group.

Let's look at an example. Group A has had the following streak:

or using the W/L notation: WWLWWWLLWLLWWWLLWWLW Now, You can notice three consecutive LLW groups. The second group is LLWWW. Then an L (or -) follows. You start betting right there, after the first L. You know that there is a high probability to get a single L. In this example, you lost your roulette bet. The first L was followed by another one. The L streak ended with WW. Another L follows. You start betting again after that first L. The probability is even higher now for L to be single (that is, it will be followed by W). Bet now 3 units on the first roulette dozen of the group and 3 units on the other dozen of the group. In this case, you won a 2-to-1 bet. You won 3 x 3 units = 9 units. Your cost was 3 units + 3 units = 6 units. The net gain is 3 units. But you lost the previous bet: 1 unit + 1 unit = 2 units. Deducting 2 units from the gain above, your final gain is 1 unit.

We check to see which of the groups A, B, C has two or more consecutive streaks of single W. At the end of two consecutive groups of WL we place a one unit bet on a dozen and another 1 unit bet on the other dozen of the A, or B, or C group. Let's look at another example. Group A has had the following streak:

or using the W/L notation: LLWWWWWLLLLWLWLLLWWW. You can notice two consecutive LWL groups (isolated W or +). The second group is LWLLL. Then a W (or +) follows. You start betting right there, after the first W. You know that there is a high probability to get a W longer than one (WW, WWW, etc.). In this example, you bet $10 + $10 (after that 1st W) that another W will follow. It actually did happen, so your payoff was $30 ($10 profit). If it did not happen (as in case above), you would continue with a double-up base-3 bet: $30 + $30 = $60. In by-far-most cases, you will win a $90 payoff.
The profit would be:
$90 - $60 - $20 = $10.
Do not fear reality. If you lose again, you would continue with a
double-up base-3 bet:
$90 + $90 = $180. In the most cases, you will win a $270 roulette payoff.
The profit would be:
$270 - $180 - $60 - $20 = $10.

I believe that waiting for these opportune moments greatly increases our chances and also requires less of a bankroll. There are many variations on this idea, you can also use this idea on inside numbers which in my opinion is even stronger but is a little more complicated and involved than the dozens. The basic idea remains the same. Any and all input is greatly appreciated.

no problem, it sounds a little complicated at first, but it is more difficult to explain than it is to implement. To start just track the  3 groups with Ws and Ls or + - when the groups hit or miss and then after enough spins step back and take a look and you will have that AH HAH moment and realize the potential for this. right now when i see three consecutive single   Ws or + i bet the next W will be more than one and if it loses and is an L than i wait for the next W and bet it wont be another single. and continue in that manner. it is quite accurate. let me know what you think once you have taken a closer look at it. then maybe we can even look at alternate money management ideas.

Simpler would be to play all the time LW strategy. Play last 2 D coming and after a loss wait for W. After 2 wins increase 1 unit on both, after a loss go to 1/1 and wait for W.  Again, after 2 wins increase 1 unit on both for max. 5 spins than back to 1/1.
There will be coming long winning streaks, especially when one dozen is a sleep.
Keep the losses low and let the winnings run. We do it at Forex trading, it works.

And question on this topic : does anyone know the average maximum number of consecutive repetitions (or how to calculate it), that we can expect when playing any two dozens system, in lets say, 100 spins?
